logging in

steel having trouble logging in ben trying since 7 am and steel cant log in ben this way for months now it needs to be looked in to and fixed i dont have this problem whit my other online games just this one

    Have you gone into Options in the Star Trek Online launcher, turned off On Demand Patching, turned on Force Verify, let it patch, and tried again? Have you tried running it in Safe Mode? If you are getting a black screen have you waited it out before deciding to close out the game?

    going on day 3 now steel cant log in it starts the if freeze up and wont move and i cat X it out at all i have to shutdown my pc and tern it back on i do that all day

    well its day 4 that i cant get logged in when r they going to look in to this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Have you uninstalled it and then reinstalled it? Do you use the launcher alone or Steam, Arc, or Epic?

    ya i did that 6 times i dont have this problem with my other online games like star wars and others just this one right after thay did that last update on this game

    run in windows, maximized, when ti freeze up end task and relaunch. I use that for the same issue

    Try starting the game in Safe Mode in the launcher options. I know it's already been mentioned. Failing that, post your PC specs in this post. They can't help you without so little information.

    I would also love to know a fix for this that works consistently. I have been having this problem every time they do an update for over a year. I have run as admin, I have done force verify, I have restarted my PC. Each version of fixing has randomly worked before but you had to try all three because you never knew which one would work on each update. There are no errors listed, the client just stops loading. The only way to remove the client from the screen is to restart, nothing else can be used because the client screen will cover it preventing access. I have spent three hours this evening trying to get the client to load because of today's update. I played fine yesterday. I reached out to support before and they gave me no answer so I am hoping maybe someone in the community knows what support does not about what they are doing in the updates that causes this issue. AMD CPU with Radeon vid.

    well... having problems today. 2 different one. either my password is not accepted or if is accepted and game loads but none of the characters loads

    OK my game was working fine yesterday.
    Now when I click engage it immediately crashes.

    Having a similar issue except it just freezes while trying to load in and then crashes.
