Can't drop non-existent missions; don't tell me this isn't a bug

Okay, folks, how do you drop a mission that cannot be completed BECAUSE IT'S NO LONGER AVAILABLE??? E.G. "Assimilation Complete." And why, for the love of the Great Bird of the Galaxy, if a mission like this cannot be completed or dropped IS IT STILL SELECTABLE FROM THE FROM THE "AVAILABLE" LIST????
1) How do I remove it from my mission list?
2) It needs to be removed from the Available Missions list.

    When posting please include the following information:
    Charactername@handle
    Last map you were in (if applicable)
    Map you were going to (if applicable)
    What the issue is
    What steps you already tried when attempting to resolve your issue (if applicable)

    You know what? Never mind. Just delete. Don't know why I bother.

    You are not bothering anyone, you are posting a bug. Just follow the format and you will be ok. :)
