Game consistently freezes upon first login each day.

Since my last post about that bug got swamped, I thought I'd make a new one on a more appropriate forum...

As the title says, STO systematically freezes on a daily basis upon initial launching, forcing me to manually close the game and restart it.

Once again, not a game-breaking bug, but an annoying one still, and certainly not a good impression for a new player who would run the game for the first time after downloading it.

    I get the same frequently.

    Start the game in Safe Mode via the launcher's options. This should help. This usually happens if there has been a driver update or similar change, which sort of invalidates the game.pref file. Safe mode resets this.
