Major DPS discrepancies on FED Human vs. Liberated Klingon

I am a bit at a lost right now, I have seen some major discrepancies with the DPS Numbers between my FED Human and my Liberated Klingon.

Both toons are completely naked except for the gear no traits, no crew and both use the same Skill Tree (Fed Phaser and KDF Disruptor).

All gear was checked to be correct Phaser Locators for the Fed and Disruptor Locators for the KDF.

On both Toons: [Fleet Tactical Skill Boost - Elite Training], [Fleet Engineering Skill Boost - Elite Training], [Fleet Science Skill Boost - Elite Training], 700 Day Veteran, Combat Performance Boost Tier 3, Warp Signature Masking

3.) The Doffs are the typical ones CrtH, CrtD, Conn Officer, 27 of 47 and 24 of 47.

Did the same test on my Jem'Hadar had to switch to matching Dual Cannons since he is using a Polaron Build.

All other things being equal, it looks like there might be something screwy going on either with Starship Weapons Training - that hidden skill that is supposed to level alongside your character - or something else that's hidden. I can't think of anything else that would affect damage values to that extreme - I would have said weapon power as that's usually the first issue with low damage, but I can see it's set to 100 for all those characters.

And certain accolades do boost specific damage types, but not to that extreme - it's 2% cat1 damage for all of them.

An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"

To make sure it is not ship related I did the same test on my Legendary D7. (I even removed the Doffs during this test)

I would check the "stats" screen to see if everything is in fact displaying as equal (this would detect a skills issue, etc.)

I have not seen anything different, but will check agian.

Also, do you have specializations active? are they the same ones?

Intelligence and Strategy on all three of them.

The Liberated Klingon should actually be slightly higher than Fed Human, all else being equal, because of the baked in racial trait.

The issue is not only on the Human and Liberated Klingon but also on my Jem'Hadar.

Also KDF (and under some circumstances everyone else) have access to BOFFs traits that give DPS-visible benefits (SRO does not, but the Hierarchy/Nausicaan and Jem'Hadar Vanguard traits do).

All Traits, Crew, were removed from the ship on the tests I even removed the Doffs.

Here is a comparison of an ISE-Run at leat until I get destroyed on the Legendary D7 by the first Tac-Cube (Same Ship, Same Gear except for the KDF using Disruptors).

Here is a second run on the Terran Defiant agian same build but I have removed the Agony Redistributor and the Tholian Webspinner Array. Those runs are much closer together and make it plausible that it is only a display bug.

That was why I mentioned in my first post, that the Liberated Klingon should be slightly higher than the Fed Human - because the Liberated racial trait could cause a slight DPS benefit, while the Human one is entirely defensive.

I move over to Tribble, so same scenario on both ships: No Gear, Traits, Crew, Doffs and I wiped the Skill Tree.

So, random question - do you have the Heart of <Faction Homeworld name here> trait from any of the Temporal Warships (Edison, Kholhr and the like) unlocked (I. E. available in the trait list) on that fed character and NOT on the KDF one? If you do, I'm wondering if maybe its bonus is being applied despite not being slotted in an active slot - there have been cases recently of things giving bonuses when they shouldn't be because they weren't actually slotted.

I had Heart of Sol unlocked on my FED but not Legacy of Qo'noS got the Trait (Having to wash my hands now after touching a Disco Klingon Ship) but no change if there is one that would bring it to the level of my FED.

I am showing the same. Two virtually similar builds, one Human Fed Engineering Captain, the other, Romulan Klingon Empire Science Captain....similar results to bridgern. Both using same ships, same weapons, similar overall builds...huge difference in damage potentials, at least as displayed.

And I see there's another TTF weapon...so it seems maybe there's a problem with that specific weapon across different characters - have other weapons been checked to see if they also have varying damage?

There's also the possibility of display errors, and that can only be checked with controlled parsing.

It is there on other weapons too.

Last but not least we figured out what the problem is:

It is the T6 Saber Class, once you have full master the ship you are going to see different numbers on your gear.
