Where exactly on DS9 am I supposed to meet the hologram James Kurland? What time of the day is the hologram supposed to appear? Is this something that happens on every April 1st, or was this supposed to happen only once in 2018?
Seems like the gods are definitely trying to sabotage my ability to even get this done; conflicting answers on both the Reddit AND the in-game zone chats, and unreliable internet connectivity here in rural central Texas (getting frequent disconnects every 40 seconds).
Someone on Reddit said to wait until 10 AM PT...which is 12 PM (noon) for me here in Texas.
Looks like nothing in-game for April Fools this year, sadly. I seem to recall Artisanal Audio and Holo-Kurland starting somewhat earlier in the day than this when they did run, but them not being active by now likely means that we aren't getting either.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.
It did finally happen after all!!!
It happened around 12:35 PM CT; as I was about to give up, I heard the audio change (the Artisanal Sounds). It led me to wonder if the holo-Kurland finally appeared at DS9. I also checked the STO reddit, and someone responded to me telling me that they were physically at DS9 and they were seeing the holo-Kurland.
Wish this axiom applied to other things that transpired as of late...
The problem is there's still a difference here with that, in the form of flipping a switch and activating something that's already existing vs things that take time to actually develop.

I finally got the damn emote, lol.
So..."squeaky wheel gets the grease," eh?

But that is a discussion for another time.
