PC: Too much bloom (Sphere of Influence)

There's too much bloom in Sphere of Influence.
I have bloom turned on with 100% settings and lighting 2.0
Turning off lighting 2.0 seems to be a workaround.

    noticed the same thing, was going post but this thread already here, turning lighting 2.0 off lets me see again lol

    And much of it isn't even tied to bright objects. It's coming off of random things in the place. Braces, computer screens, pieces of NPC outfits. It's just bizarre.

    Seems this over-bloom is also an issue for all ground mission with lava. ie fighting the Tolians in the caves in New Rom story arc. All my Voice communities say this has been broke for some time [couple of months] - even before the 'enhanced explosions' patch.

    This is still broken post November 16 patch.

    Can confirm it's still way too bright in all 3 missions:
    • The Power Source
    • Sphere of Influence
    • Blood of Ancients

    This issue is known internally at this time, I just no idea when A proper fix will be.

    I reported this last Sept-Nov of last year, seems the CORE issue is some Lava is far brighter than it was previously as shown here.

    Yea I'm surprised no notice of "Blood of the Ancients" or "Power Source" or "Secrets of the Ancients" yet being resolved given how blinding the Lava some is several mission... I reported it so long ago too!

    Yep, still doing this. VERY hard to move through those levels.

    most of us know about the temp solution...but is 4-5 months really temporary at this rate? given the bug history for other things, im inclined to think this is never going to be fixed. ymmv.
