BUG REPORT: No Omega Particles on Deep Space 9 (Ground)

As the title says, there are no Omega Particles on Deep Space 9 (Ground), which is now preventing me from doing the Daily mission. I tried dropping the mission and taking it again, only to get the exact same locations over and over again. I spent hours searching Deep Space 9 (Ground) and found nothing at all, not even when mission circles showed them present. This bug is preventing progress in the event through this quest, thus denying the rewards of said quest. I filed a bug report the first day of the event, but nothing was done and the ticket is still open. Is there a chance we could get a hotfix for this?

    Seems there are, but because of the new DS9 Map most spawn on the 2nd level not first. Though you can sometimes find them in the Security Office near the cells; since that is only one level.

    I ran around there looking for one as well and saw nothing, till I asked and someone said check upstairs most are on 2nd level. Take the stairs up, or the turbolift to second level.

    DS9 is tiny and cramped at the best of times since it was redone and ever since then the omega particles have consistently been worse than andoria ground to find.

    Just had two spawn cycles on ds9 where they were either in the wall or nowhere to be found. Nothing on the lower or upper promenade, ops was a bust, same with quarks including the health and safety nightmare of those upper floors that are more like catwalks from a horror movie than something from a drinking establishment.

    @postagepaid
    As I said, I searched the ENTIRETY of DS9, including the upper levels and command, everywhere that could be accessed. Not even one particle all week. I keep hearing that it's on the second level or in security, but hours of searching turned up nothing.

    @inferiority
    That does not work on DS9 because there are interactable objects every few steps. Scanning only works when anomalies and objectives are the only thing to find. It only points at the replicators and doors. Now if they would stop having the tricorder point to simple TRIBBLE like replicators and doors, it might be useful on DS9.

    As I said in my original post, I searched the entirety of DS9, every accessible inch of it on every level. I spent hours at DS9 searching. Not one particle all week. I hear people talking about it, but you can't prove by me that they ever spawn. All week I tried, and not once did a single particle spawn. If they do, it "Ultra Rare".

    @inferiority
    That doesn't work when there are other interactable objects, and DS9 has them every couple steps with replicators and doors and consoles. Tricorder scanning DS9 always leads to one of these other objects. Scanning only really works when objectives and anomalies are the only thing to find.

    I doubt it. It might take time, like maybe 10 minutes of your day, but they are there.

    I've had no problems scanning for Omega's on DS9. The scanner might point to other things if you have another mission with an interactable somewhere else on the map, but if the Omega daily is the only mission you have, then it should be pointing straight to those Omega's.

    tp all those that say there there its a bug so some may find them while others don't. i have gamed quite a while and i have had to restart games as parts were bugged where some could get past. this is the case here i to have not been able to find any particles there myself. and pressing v just points to nearest interactive object. and it doesn't just take 10 minutes. i to have searched for hours. i have changed instances. i have looked all over and nothing. so yes its a bug that's the thing about bugs is it doesn't bug out for everyone.

    Stuff to remember when searching for Omega molecules on DS9:
    - the promenade has 2 levels, so be sure to check them both
    - the security office has cells in the back, so be sure to check there
    - Quark's bar has 3 levels, so be sure to check all 3
    - At any time, an undiscovered Omega molecule can despawn from a place you haven't yet looked, and spawn in a new place you have looked making it appear that there are none on the station. Be sure to looks absolutely everywhere twice, to be certain.

    As I've mentioned previously, I've not had any problem finding them on DS9, although it can take a wee while to check everywhere. I have not had any issues using V to scan - it may look like it's pointing to an interactable object, but I'll bet if you look further you may just find that Omega you claim isn't there.

    Anyway, I'm not on your computers and can't see what you see, so I'm just offering the above info to try and help reach a solution.
