I think It would be so nice to get a refit of Voyager, As well as all of the other ships from Lev-10 to 40- and the Maranda class starter ship. What do you think people ?????
Indeed while there's no T6 ship that's literally the Intrepid or the Miranda you got ships that can use the skin so as far other people would care those are 100% identical to the Intrepid or Miranda.

As already mentioned, it already exists, and it has a 'screen-accurate' skin already. It doesn't need a refit. Alot of ships have already got higher res skins now, so what you're asking for has already happened and is happening.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
I will have to echo my fellow forumites on this. These refits already exist in game in various stages. Hell... even ships like the Negh'var and D'derp... I mean D'Deridex have gotten refits.
Sorry... The D'D is a decent ship but handles like a brick even at T6.
Many ships have not only gotten T6 refits, but have also had full remodels. Ships like the Akira, Prometheus, and even the venerable Miranda, which actually has 2 T6 variants, the Reliant and Clarke. Note that while the Clarke is supposed to be a T6 Malachouski, she was added to the Light Cruiser line, of which the Miranda is, and thus can use Miranda parts. So technically speaking we have one ship with 2 C-Store available T6 variants. Before that the closest we had to that I believe was the Sovereign line with the Archon and Vizier classes, but the Vizier was mostly available via Attack Wing promo code for the majority of its existence.
Also, saving this post for future reference next time people make up derogatory nicknames for ships they don't like as proof that it is a mod approved practice
Hey... a lot of people have referred to it because of the turn rate. Like I said its a decent ship, she just has the turn rate of a brick. And in this case I was trying to crack a little joke to lighten the mood.
I'm starting to wonder if maybe we might see another Romulan Legendary Bundle of 1-2 Ships in the near future?
While its possible, the Devs have also stated they're starting to divorce model revamps from new ship releases. So its entirely possible that they've got some new models without a new ship in the pipe.

I'm actually confused what motivation they would have to separate the 2 things. I mean, if they are going to spend the development time/resources revamping a model they would want to get some kind of financial return wouldn't they? I mean if they want to do it out of the kindness of their hearts I guess that's great? I'm just confused how they would justify the cost of doing so.
Well... many have been asking for model revamps to many ships. We still have some that, compared to newer ships, look like trash in comparison because they're still using launch era models. The biggest example is the Nova class. She's still using Launch era model and hull materials, whereas the Intrepid got a complete overhaul and looks amazing.
Both canon ships. Both have been in game since launch.
Now... as for divorcing the model revamps from c-store releases, it not only gives the Devs more freedom to decide when to release a new model, especially if they aren't working on a new variant of that particular ship, it freshens up older ships, which in turn may raise interest in said older ships. Many of which right now DO have T6 variants that can make use of those new models.
So... technically speaking... revamping older models to the current standard raises interest in the associated ships, and thus... potentially raises interest in buying the associated ships to USE said models.

I completely understand your logic, and I'm not saying you are wrong. But I will still be extremely surprised if they put the time and money into revamping a ship and don't capitalize on that investment by some kind of legendary or "ship of the line" release to go along with it. I think these 2 Rom ships will serve as a good test case to see what they are up to. Let's see what happens and compare notes

We have heard in the past that some model revamps are done on the dev's free time, simply because they wanted to update it.
Also, they may have made a model revamp for a new ship release, but data later showed they wouldn't make enough money, so the new version of the new version of ship was never built. So now they have this updated model of the old ship sitting around, for a ship release thats never going to happen. Why sit on it at that point?
Yeah, both of those scenarios actually agree with my point.
In Scenario 1 a dev is doing the work in his free time and not on the company dime. Hence there was no company investment.
In Scenario 2 the work was done because they planned on selling(key word) the revamped ship in some form. They later scrapped the sale, and only released the ship because the work had already(key word) been done.
So back to my point: if they are going to spend development time/money on a revamp, they are almost certainly going to try to monetize it. And both of those scenarios agree with that logic.
Yeah, both of those scenarios actually agree with my point.
I never disagreed with it either so... *shrugs*
No worries, I wasn't saying you were
Even then, your initial wording would suggest that, unless they were absolutely getting money out of it, they wouldn't release it all, because they aren't making anything off of the work put into it. As pointed out, there are situations where they would do such a thing, such as an original plan to do that, which fell through. At that point they are essentially just doing it for free, and releasing it simply because.
No, I never said they would absolutely never revamp a ship without some plan to monetize it. But what I did say is that I would have a hard time believing they would spend the development time/resources to revamp a ship without wanting to capitalize on that investment. Sorry you misunderstood, but thanks for following up to clarify.
Yeah that's the one exclusion they've made, since the Dominion joined the Alliance.
Not only that... it is THE Iconic Dominion ship. The first one we saw, the one we saw the most of, and there was even one recovered by the Federation and used against the Dominion. Just like the TOS trio are Iconic to their respective factions, the Bugship is iconic to the Dominion.
When it comes to the bug ship, we've got a bunch of versions of it already:
T5 Jem'Hadar Attack Ship (the original one, Phoenix)
T5 Jem'Hadar Escort (The Dominion faction starter ship, available to other characters for dil via Cross Faction Flying unlock)
T6 Jem'Hadar Strike Ship (can use the T5 skin, available as Promo ship or account unlock via a Mudd's bundle)
T6 Jem'Hadar Recon Ship (same skin as the Strike ship, and should also be able to use the T5 skin, promo ship)
The fact that the T6 ships can use the T5 skin make them some of the few Jem'Hadar ships that have customizable parts. So while not legendary, there are multiple versions of the bug ship available, including the one that's available cheap for dil. (Haven't checked the T5 Escort to see if it can use the T6 parts.)

I mean I love Romulans and like the D'D...but yeah it's just a massive whale without cruiser commands...so it's just meh at best.

Most other ships other than a select few have a T6 version...but they said they will eventually get working on them
There are 2 different T6 ships that can use the Miranda class skin (4 if you count the fleet versions)

Myself and likely others probably hope for a few Smaller Bundles like the Mirror Bundle which was nice.
