Last I heard, they had a test fix up on Tribble that didn't fix the issue. I believe they deployed a new fix on Tribble within the last day that might have fixed it. If that's the case, then I assume it didn't make it into the patch.
It's being worked on, may not be the answer you want.. but it is what it is. There would be no point in them including a fix that didn't work, once they know the fix works they will add it to the live server.

They could at least postpone, or increase the duration of the event.
I'm very not looking forward having to do yet another TFO without any weapons.
It's one thing that they can't fix it immediately. I don't think that would be reasonable to expect.
But they should at least do something, instead of making this the problem of the players. Cause that's what happens everytime with these game-breaking bugs. It's up to the player to deal with it, because there doesn't seem to be any flexibility or acceptance of consequences on Cryptic's part.
It's the same with other bugs, like the Vanity shields not displaying properly unless you keep the character overview screen tab (U key) open.
They keep releasing new stuff, stick to their release schedule - all the while ignoring that stuff they're releasing isn't working the way it should.
It's a ridiculous attitude, one that really makes a bad impression.
Mistakes happen, errors can occur and even persist for a while - it's not a perfect world we live in so I think we can all accept that. But at least acknowledge the errors and do something with the fact they exist and couldn't be solved yet, Cryptic. Instead of continuing like nothing's wrong.
Is anyone surprised by the lack of the fix? Or the noticeable absence of "Community Manager" and his error prone patch notes?

In regards to Kael being MIA... I think he's out of town for the next few days.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I've found that if you strip off the offending items and re-equip them, they *tend* to come back online again. Of course, today I logged in to one of my captains to find his shuttle's turrets equipped on his main ship's fore weapon slots, and the ship's weapons unequipped in his inventory....Bugs. They're everywhere.
I have to check the weapons mounts and traits every time I go to a TFO since they tend to dismount or scramble like that on map changes, and once in a while it seems like the Boff skills flip to others in their repertoire so I end up with the wrong ones slotted (though the boff thing might be just not remembering what was there correctly, I pay more attention to the first two).
A long time ago they used to be some players that could fix all of this for them knowing more than they do about the game lol. Unfortunately they burned that bridge when so much EC those peoples had were tied up in the doff system that didn't have adequate storage so they had to depend upon the mail system. So once they changed the mail system and eliminated trillions worth of EC from all these players they never returned. So that is why in this age of the game that bugs take so much longer to fix and the actual reason for how the economy with EC took such a horrible dive after DR was launched.

The game would be shut down until it was fixed.

Hiding hmmm? lol probably making a vacation when he can.
They probably won't fix them, they will just blame it on the players computers, just like normal.
I love your handle!
Thanks
