Loooong overdue joining fleets and am catching up on gear/Boffs/etc.
I decide to restructure Boffs for Space traits on mu Naussican account.
I hit the Exchange, buy a Tac Rom Boff and click the Recruiting tab. Sure enough, I get that “My name is X and I pledged my support, Wah wah, TRIBBLE you” message.
I’ve been here before, but those were with budding alts, NOT one with Marauding 4 unlocked (as suggested elsewhere) unlike my Marauding 4 Naussican.
Second, the “show only usable items” box was clicked “yes”.
There has GOT to be a way for top level characters to use cross-faction or this is complete TRIBBLE BS that these items are salable on the exchange to accounts that cannot use them.
So, which is it? Can you use cross-faction Boffs from the exchange after achieving top maurading ranking (and if so, how) or are we being screwed over on exchange.
And yes, I know about that stupid Marauding Boff trader who allows you ONE Boff at a time.

The way you asked the question clearly comes across as a rant.
Isn't it helpful to know you are posting in a way that might trigger moderation and a thread lock?
No, cross faction use is not allowed except for the one marauding and diplomacy boff you get from whoever, and the Romulans from the embassy fleet holding not the exchange.
If you are buying from the exchange, pay attention to the red, green and blue borders around boffs and doffs. Even if the exchange shows you a boff you might not be able to use it. You'll need to re-sell an unusable boff or turn it into a manual.
Maybe you take deep breath and calm down, heya?
As people have said, BOffs and DOffs are not cross faction, and you only get the one Opposing Faction BOff when you get T4 Diplomacy/Marauding.
If you have a question you wish to pose to the forums... please do not make it a rant, or be aggressive about things you don't agree with. Just bring your question in a civil manner, and it will be answered in a civil manner. Being aggressive will either bring about aggressive responses, or as is happening now... thread closure.
