Starting next week, for a limited time, Captains on PC (and soon, Captains on Console) will be able to become a Delta Recruit, and earn rewards across their account!
PS:
Don't throw out Dust to Dust! It's awesome and relaxing after numerous combat missions! (And I love the feeling of "I hate you! you're not my real dad!" attitude of Keten/Harry. (phrasing comes from Certifiably Ingame's YouTube play of the mission, but it's cute)
Again?? Are you ever going to bring back the Temporal Agent Recruitment event? You did it once back in 2016 and I missed it. I have seen every other recruitment event, other than the recent Klingon event, multiple times. You released the Gamma event and then a year later did it again. You have never brought back the Temporal Agent Recruitment event.
New home of the Romulan Republic.
I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.
I find the drama of your signature proof of your immaturity, this means you, DR whiners.

I agree, Cryptic has acknowledged they know many players want a 2nd Temporal but just won't, yet?, for some excuse/reason.
However, another Delta recruitment is still nice since it allows players to participate especially any new players that haven't before.
The way I remember Delta recruits is for full optimization you need 3,1 of Fed, 1 KDF, & 1 Rom, but 1 or 2 gets nice perks too.
Usually, I think at least so far, Cryptic only gives-out a free toon slot with the initial recruitment but who knows.
It'll be a bit more interesting since Cryptic is rearranging the missions required & perhaps some of the rewards.
I recommend any player that has an open character slot to participate, it's fun & beneficial.
I wonder if we'll get a repeat of the KDF recruitment event before we get another Temporal recruitment. lol

I have done the Delta event for all three groups. I do agree that it is nice for it to return for those that haven't completed them. I probably won't do another if there isn't any change but I hope other players enjoy it.

Yes. They said Temporal Recruit WILL happen again this year—but it needed more work than Delta to make it work with the new content—so Delta is happening first.
I logged into my Delta recruit that I haven't really used since the first event and see that he, at the time, had finished everything that was available. It looks like I did level him to 65 at some point though so at least there's that. I'm curious to see how the new mission rewards will be integrated in and if I'll have to go back and complete missions over again. That would sort of be a shame since I just did all of the arcs with my new Klingon Recruit. Regardless, at least I don't see a need to start a brand new Delta.

It reads as if Cryptic placed some thought & effort into not merely duplicating any progress by previous Delta recruits but have additional now for any Delta recruits too so either brand new or older Delta recruits will benefit.
Kudos to Cryptic upon that even if there are a few glitches.
Nothing detailed except the U.S.S. Voyager Admiralty Card though so if that's the only addition, yawn, but it all helps I suppose.

I read somewhere not terribly long ago that their upcoming content plans were in fact to rerun both Delta Recruitment and Temporal Agent Recruitment events this year!

Personally, I'm grateful for the rerun of the Delta Recruits.. I accidentally deleted my Delta character (wasn't paying attention) before completing the missions with him, and have been stuck with only like five of the mission rewards.
So, I'm looking forward to remaking a Delta... and will be happy when the Temporal characters make a return.. as I missed that one completely. lol
To me, Delta Recruitment events are an exercise in irony.
Because there is only one Delta Quadrant playable species and Talaxian is neither of the two I wanted.
So if Cryptic want me to take Delta Quadrant recruitment seriously, they have to accompany it with a Delta Quadrant playable species update that includes the two playable species I desire.
I ignored the first one and will ignore this one two.
And no, I am not faking it with a CustomAlien simulation.

I am glad for the Delta Recruit rerun. Last time when they last had a rerun I did not create a Klingon or Romulan. This time I am going to create another Klingon character for the Delta Recruit and if I have another free slot a Romulan Delta Recruit.
I don't think Cryptic will offer another free character slot for this rerun of the Delta Recruitment Event but it wouldn't be stupid neither to possibly run a sale on Items/Services to help entice any players to buy & then create characters to optimize the Delta Recruitment.
I'm really happy that they are bringing this back. I finally got all my recruits finished last year during furlough, and had frinds that had not created any or just a Fed Delta recruit. Now I can help them get all their Delta recruits completed, as they helped me.
Since I've read several posts about creating Delta recruits for each faction, I was wondering why captains feel the need to do that. As I understand it, and from my experience in game, all of your alts gain the rewards earned by the various recruits regardless of factions. Is this more of a game immersion experience or is there some benefit from creating multiple alts during these events?
When I checked my old Delta recruit I found that he's still running an old build, with out of date consoles, untouched reputations, and likely lots of new missions and arcs to complete. I'll wait until the event starts to bring him back up to speed.

If you're a lifetime subscriber just make your new Delta Recruit a Liberated Borg, seems to fit.

Not 100% sure with this newest reversion of the Delta recruits but for complete optimization of all the rewards possible the 3 factions, Fed-KDF-Rom, were warranted since each had part of their own beginning storyline missions as part of the goals. Having 1 Delta recruit would get you most but not all since each factions' beginning storyline missions are restricted to that particular faction.

You need to have all 3 to gain ALL possible rewards, which do stack up when claimed on a fresh non-recruit toon. Those extra marks and stuff help loads.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Awesome! Will we get a character slot for the new recruit? I only ask, as if not, I'll be sure to cash out and delete a toon or two.
All accounts were given an extra slot for the recruit on the original event - the extra slot remained when new accounts were created afterward, so it is unlikely a new slot will be awarded again.

Well, that's my question. What SPECIFIC rewards are different for each faction? I ask because my only Delta toon was Fed and he completed all of the required missions. The rewards garnered have been collected by all of my other toons, including Klingon and Romulan.
So, you're saying that there are different Delta rewards for each faction. Is there a list of that somewhere? Thank you in advance.

But I've already made one Playable Borg, so am not personally interested in having a second one.
Mostly what I want it is for Cryptic to add new playable species, to provide some kind of gameplay variation that doesn't currently exist.
There's so many Trek species out there, they could release one a month and never run out for years!!!
