We're going to have an interview with Mary Chieffo live on Ten Forward Weekly tomorrow (at 4:30 PT, you can watch at twitch.tv/crypticstudios or at our Facebook page), and we want to ask some of your questions! Fire away in this thread.
Has CBS/Alec Kurtzman tapped you (or your agent) regarding an appearance at some point in either the upcoming "Strange New Worlds" or "Section 31" series?
Formerly known as Armsman from June 2008 to June 20, 2012

What is your most memorable scene you have recorded so far, and most memorable blooper where something went hilariously or horribly wrong?
If that counts as 2 questions: What is your most memorable blooper where something went hilariously or horribly wrong?
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again." - Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek Generations
What process did you use to get in the headspace of the character, in particular in regards her relationship (both with and against) standard Klingon culture?
First the technical one, how is it different voicing L'Rell for STO then it is playing her live action?
Second the "lore" question. Do you think that L'Rell knows that Tenavik is her son and if so what do you think would be the first thing she would say to him in private?

She does. She's told in Season 2. She just can't acknowledge that she knows.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Were you okay with the makeup crew giving L'Rell hair in Season 2 of Discovery?

Dude, she's L'rell from Star Trek Discovery; the lady Klingon that was at one point held in the brig of the Discovery during the first season.

How was the process of learning to speak Klingon? (favorite Klingon word?)
Most memorable 'blooper'?

Rather a personal question, don't you think?

I thought L'Rell knew her son survived not the current identity of said son.
On an unrelated note what would the stream start time be in UTC.
