-Console is pretty amazing and far surpassed my already lofty expectations. The mass Disable-spam completely shuts down everything in your forward cone for a pretty lengthy amount of time(no shields, no movement, no weapons, no ability-spam; more than enough time to kill them before the systems come back online). You get 3 staggered salvos per activation, and it's completely disgusting what you can do with it on those infinite-spawn/timed combat objectives. The Tactical Mode version of the salvos is.. okay; a bit more flashy than amazing(especially compared to the science/default mode). The passives are also a great addition to any kind of dps build.
Console: "Why am I hearing progressively more audible nerf hammer boss music?"
I will say it does kind of slap drain builds in the face.
It covers a larger area and comepletely bypasses the high drain resist mobs have these days. It doesn't match the exotic damage potential of Tyken's Rift, but on a drain build, you have to stack so much drain just to make a dent that you generally don't have a lot of epg anyways..
This ship is a like a jack of two of the three trades, it masters neither of them.
I disagree.
Looking at its stats, it can easily compete with most other sci ships if you wanted to make a pure EPG ship or a drain build. The only ship I can think of that would easily outperform it in that regard, is the Legendary Intrepid as it can use 6 sci consoles out of the box. But then one could argue that no other ship really masters sci builds anymore.

at least drain builds still get the benefit of boosting the subsystem offline duration to absurd levels - at 1k drain, you can get 30 seconds of disable on EVERYTHING hit by the volley, including 'boss' entities like tac cubes or other similar dreadnoughts - which is why the console is definitely getting nerfed

Nah the ship is actually very fine.
I mean I didn’t crunch the numbers but my rather causal observation are these:
My SCI uses it as Fleet T6X and the only ship truly outperforming it is the Legendary T6X Intrepid as it has one console more, pets and the MW mechanics on top.
Hard to compete with that.
I was curios about testing it with my TAC in Tac mode and it compares very well to my Fleet Advanced Escort T6X.
The advantage of the true escort here boils mostly down to the mastery.
Honestly this ship fills two roles very well indeed.
On top of that the Titan has the noticeable better turn rate and I think even a bit more HP.
I compared it to my Fleet Advanced Escort T6X and I found it to perform very similar overall.
You lose one Tac Lt Station but gain SCI/CMD instead.
While the Escort can mount a Reverse Shield Polarity II the Titan only can have Reverse Shield Polarity I however you get noticeable more shield instead, it kinda sort of levels out.
That might not hold up in Elite I concede.
Like I said I didn't crunch the numbers. I'm not a parser guy.
I just flew some patrols and looked if I kill as good and survive as good. And I found it roughly comparable.

The ship model may have been made with love and patience, but the release itself, oh boy, does it feel rushed, with the saving grace being it mostly gives positive bugs/oversights to players for once:
-faction-unlocked by accident
-no new experimental weapon
-fleet version not in fleet filter
-aft beams fire from the opposite-side weapon mount
-ridiculously OP console with its default setting being the OP one while the other isn't special
-eligible for T6 coupons and discounts despite being released the same week and even pretty much the same day

I can't seem to find the "Fleet Titan Science Destroyer" at the ship vendor. Was it called something different? Or is there a certain combo of filters I need to find it?
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

I found it under "Fleet" Science but it is not in "Fleet T6". At least it looks like it and talks about it being Riker's ship. However, it is telling me I need 4 fleet modules when I do have the C-store Titan fully leveled up. Anyone else having that issue?
Edit: Never mind, the "Fleet Titan Science Destroyer" under T6, not Fleet, works fine. I guess I was looking at the Fleet Luna.

Gotta comment, for the whole "science doesn't sell" I'm seeing a whole lot of Titans in game, and a lot of reddit all about it. Sure, it also doubles as a destroyer but with 5 sci console slots (and still lacking tac ship mastery in tac mode?) it's main role is still science.
Maybe, just maybe, a Nova/Rhode Island could do just as well if not more so.
This ship is a like a jack of two of the three trades, it masters neither of them.
Nah the ship is actually very fine.
No, my point is in terms of stats compared to other tac and sci ships it lacks in both ways (at least a little more in the tac compartment), which is why I say it doesn't master either. I never said it wasn't competent.

For what it's worth, Control builds are able to do similar things with Confusion effects. It may not half the effective health of mobs, but it does remove their ability to deal weapon damage to friendlies while also channeling their damage and targeted abilities to your benefit. Most GWBombers can easily accommodate a 15s+ Scramble Sensors.

Tomorrow's Patch will remove this Ship from being availible with the T6 Free Ship (100% off) Token. If you want it get it now.

The ship looks nice and it's great to see some of the older ships get some much needed attention.
The 4-3 weapon layout adds to it with not many science-heavy C-store ships having that.
I'm not sure yet whether I'll buy it. I've got a lot of science ships and many ships in general that I hardly if ever use. But this ship looks sweet nevertheless.
So, I bought it. I'm using it on my drain toon. Having it probably means I'll use the Sutherland, Scryer, Dauntless, the latest Risian ship and Crossfield even less than I used to.
But it's a great ship and much more customisable than most of those other ships, so I think it's worth it.

I hope you've learned from this. When Klingons get almost no ships all year, what do they do? Steal themselves a new ship!
Put those silly Federation morals aside and fight for your Nova or die an honorless targ!

TBH the only reason I purchased it myself was to test the Klingon bug before Cryptic acknowledged it, I really have no intention of using it.

I understand it can be bought from the KDF & I've clicked on it ready to buy & it was ready for me to do so, BUT
is the Titan fleet version available for KDF too, yes or no?
Thanks in advance for clarification.
whether they make one now or not, we'll see in the next few weeks
