The issue is simple. Customer sees an advert for a particular product feature. Customer does what they need to do to buy the product which involves converting real money into special monopoly money to have enough to buy the product.
The product does not work as explicitly advertised. Customer cannot trade away product, cannot use the product for the intended purpose, and customer support offers no avenue for satisfaction so customer is left with a virtual brick on their virtual desk, out both their real money and the monopoly money used to buy it.
If it happened IRL, they could potentially get a refund and return, or just resell said brick.

Mr moderator is nothing really going to be done about this clearly misleading description. I'm not saying give me my money back but at the very least my ec should be given back so I can get something that would actually be of use.

The moderators on this forum have no power to address your issue. They are not even paid Cryptic employees. They volunteer their time to maintain order here. What you have already done is pretty much all you can do. It's up to someone actually working for Cryptic at the customer support level to decide what to do. And it seems to me that this is something that actually needs to be decided at an even higher level.
Cryptic screwe this one up, and no mistake. I honestly hope they will own up to it and fix it the right way.

As I said in your thread in the bug section...yeah you should have at the very least had the ship reboxxed. This is a bug on the devs part that they need to fix. Maybe they will change the console to match the box text...in which case you get what you want in the end...but I doubt that. If there is a plan for the change, they could have at least told you that and told to hold on a bit. But yeah...you can't expect anything close to that from Cryptic or PWE.
That's never gonna happen...it would mean with the voth 3 piece set you could literally give any ship in the game battle cloak unless they changed the set bonuses...then again maybe it could happen.
I could just see the dollar signs in their eyes they'd be thinking of when they add the T6 Bulwark to promo packs...with how greedy they've been I could see them selling battle cloak to anyone that would buy.

I think the plan for Bulwark is whenever it gets to T6 to make it phoenix epic token which probably would explain why it wasnt T6ed along with Voth Bastion and Palisade - because if there isnt money to be made it is not a priority

Honestly I think they should just fix the description. We've got too many of those ships out in the wild already, and giving preferential treatment to those existing ones by unlocking the consoles for ALL ships over a text error, and locking new ones to Voth only seems rather unfair to people getting them in the future because their friend got one and was able to use them on any ship.
We'd see more rage posting over this issue then. The best solution is to just fix the text error.
