Risa event: completed 20 races, can't claim ship because rewards were not claimed

I completed 20 races, but I didn't press the 'claim rewards' or something-button to get the ship yet. Now that button is gone and when trying to claim the ship through the event store (j --> reclaim rewards button) it says I need to complete the event.

Which I did, I just didn't claim the ship yet.

This is on my free alternate account, its handle is @risian4#5049

    I have the same issue

    Since the xbox sto update after the festival I can't claim the completed Risa Festival Ship (Risian Weather Control Vessel) on either the character I would like or my main that completed the festival challenge despite having completed the 20 days of festival events and having the claim button available before the server(s) went down. Frustratingly, I had the Claim button beforehand after completing the festival however I wasnt sure if claiming on one character would prevent claiming on another so I went off to look it up and got distracted with real world stuff.

    Also possibly related, the new Red alert was marked as claimed on the first day I logged in since despite that not being possible. Since the subsequent update and server disconnect day the Red alert event is no longer marked as claimed and allows me to complete a daily.

    I still cant access the Risian ship through the Reclaim Rewards / Account Reclaim screen though.

    I missed by 1 day of the event, but can't buy it out on any screen I can find. Sorry you guys are having this issue though.

    Same here, missed a few days and did not complete the event. The second chance button is grayed out.

    In order to get it via the event store you have to claim it from the event tab cause it gives you the DIL package along with the ship..The event store is basically a reclaim option for your other toons..

    You cant buy out once the event is over..

    Second chance I guess would be next year or a similar event on Risa where you could complete this event and do the next one..

    The Buy Out option may be active after todays patch..

    salvation4 posted false and self-contradictory answers, not really helpful. This was a bug and the buyout/claim option is fixed now.

    They stopped offering that last year.

    (for those who did not know: you used to be able to leave the project slotted and complete it with the next year's vouchers; only with the new event system there's no slotting and no vouchers.)

    right, it was changed in favor of "Second Chance interface" with Zen buyout option discounted by your event progress percentage.
