One of my Characters is Unable to craft a Padd

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
I have all the ingredients to craft some PADDS, but for some reason, I keep getting the following: Failed to start new assignment "Component - PADD - Personal Access Display Device

I do not know why as my other chars can craft them, but my Engineer cannot for some reason.

    check the stacks of components used to craft a PADD that you have stored in your crafting tab...for whatever inexplicable reason, if you have a stack that has less than the amount needed to craft an item, the game will refuse to craft it - even if you happen to have a FULL stack as well, and therefore have a combined total well above the requirement​​

    I have below the full stack and my Engineer still cannot craft the Padds, it would be nice if the ones who do the fixing kindly sorted it and fixed as many issues as they could I am including everyone who has tech issues with the game.

    Yes... I have worked out what happens with this. The R&D system only "sees" the LAST stack of each ingredient. So if you have say a stack of 500 and a stack of 3, and the project requires 4, it will fail.

    Manually rearranging the stacks, so that the LAST stack has enough to do the project, will resolve the issue.
