Can't retrieve expired exchange items?

Anytime I have an item expire on the exchange, I am unable to reclaim that item. I never really cared before but this past week I was trying to sell some higher ticket items that I would prefer not to lose!

Does this happen to anyone else? Is this a known issue? Is it just me? Any help would be appreciated!

    You need to go to a Mail console to retrieve expired exchange items. This is not a bug.

    i just sold several items on the exchange but i don't see how to retrieve the credits. i've looked at the emails and i don't see anything on them like retrieve item. when i've bought things off the exchange they just appeared in my inventory. can anyone help me?

    Credits are automatically added to your inventory at the time of sale.

    And if you're not on at the tine of sale it gets added to the inventory of the toon you first log on to after the sale has happened.

    Incorrect.

    The credits always go to the toon that put the item up for sale.
