    Still not enough information.

    Were you trying to switch characters or were you booted out of the game and can't log in?

    Details can help narrow it down more than just "It broke".

    could not log in
    couldn't reach server.
    problem persisted for about 60 minutes.
    "redirecting, please wait..." when selecting a character
    "connection to login server timed out" after trying to join game


    just now in game

    issue appears to have corrected. be nice if someone at game watched the game for connection issues and posted same

    issue remains

    switch characters....wait forever...never load....got one to load....server timed out before i got in game

    same here. Log in using Arc and get log in has timed out. Please check you network connection and try again message.

    Doesn't matter what you use to log in, it's all the same server. Steam and Arc do not have different pathways. It looks like the issue was with the Account Server most likely.....and yes, someone probably was on it straight away.

    Maybe they were aware and this was the correction.

    @trekonlinegame: In about an hour, our PC game servers will go around the sun too fast and jump out of existence for five seconds or so. They'll be right back, and have had a fabulous adventure with whales.
