Launcher two factor authorization takes hours to send the confirmation email

in Windows and General: PC, Network, and Other Technical Issues
Tried to log on 4pm local time, waited for two factor email, nothing. Check my email again around 9pm local time, there's the email, arrived at 8:53pm local time. 5 hours is a ridiculous amount of time for a two factor email.

    I'm having the same problem - by the time I realized it was there, I think it timed out on me

    Same problem here and I already had my Steam account linked to my Star Trek Online account. After waiting a couple hours which I'm sure it longer then the time limit for the code to be valid, I got the code only to have it invalid. This is exactly what happens when they mess with something they didn't need too. I'm pretty sure players were already able to link there accounts.

    Possibly the same problem for me too. Waited for 10+ hours and still no email.
