This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    I'm not usually one for costumes and role play, but extra options are always nice.
    +1 for the Picard Uniform.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    hope we get account wide rewards and not 1 time claim on a character...

    So do you think we will get any over the old T1 to T5 ships? still waiting on them to reprice the old ships since a T6 can be used at all lvls now.

    Yeah. Misread that from my phone.
    Not to say that it will not be a 10 day giveaway, but it would merely be speculation at this point.

    back when discovery first came out they gave away the discovery feddy uniform for free too IIRC. so it looks like this is STO's new MO when a new trek series comes out.

    The 2399 Uniform claimed by a Character unlocks it for all the appropriate Characters in the Account.

    Thanks for the gift. I hope we get more freebies. That would certainly improve what we've seen for the tenth anniversary. I'd still say Cryptic could've done a better job building up to it, though.

    They've still not finished that build up, so your comment is a bit premature.

    Nah, you were right with your first post. They started talking about the 10th anniversary how many months ago, now?
    And so far, we've seen an ugly ship whose stats seems very interesting (on paper), a "new" STF that lacks any originality, news about changes that are gonna be problematic for many and some tweets annoucing stuff like "in the booth with *someone*" - plus the last one speaking about "episodes".
    So, with only 4 days left to go? Yep, they could've done a much better job building up to it.​​

    I really hope the best part of the event remains unrevealed. AND it won't be yet another 12k bundle to buy but something available for all players without any zen grind with current dilex exchange rates. (Which will get even worse than ever.) The coming event seems rather usual right now, nothing really "special" Cryptic claimed to come. And that Omega bop drama kinda spoils the beginning of the event for me too. But I really really hope there will be something better coming to at least equal things out for me.

    Rivera did speak about episodes, so unless it's a typo we're gonna get more than one episode.
    Of course, we won't know for sure until the event has ended, but so far it feels awefully underwhelming.​​

    It's acct-wide. If it was per toon they would say so when they announce it.

    Usually things like Services/Slots/etc from the C-Store are per bound to whoever picks it up and don't go account wide.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Yes, they have botched it so far. Can they salvage it? We'll see, I guess. The decoded transmission is interesting, but only because other players have made it available for me to see. I think they should've been a little more open about that one.

    Todays free giveaway is 5 Lockbox Keys (Bound to character). They can be claimed under promotions tab in the Zen Store.

    thx for the giveaway, i don't open boxes and as these keys are bound to character, I guess that i'm going to open Borg gamble boxes. :)

    do infinity boxes... if something in the borg box you want wait till it gets rolled into infinity... that way if you dont get something you want... you have more options. not like these keys expire and go poof.

    Or do infinity now, sell what you get for credits, then buy what you want from the Borg box on the Exchange.

    I would've thought for a 10th anniversary 10 keys but since I always lose 5 will be good too for short-term excitement followed by STO dreams shattered.
    The question is now to use the keys immediately on an Infinity or try to exert patience & wait for the Borg lockbox?

    A bit of a nothing-burger since I'll lose but still a nice little gesture, thanks to Cryptic!

    The award ship is ... I will put this as kindly as possible ... bad. If it was the ship of some pirate prince who took captured parts of ships and welded them together I might say ok. I don't post often but I have to say "What were you thinking?" I hope you offer a different option as well.
