Just a thought, but why not wait until the show comes out and offer things from the new show. I saw a number of ground weapons I would love to have in the trailers. Pretty sure there were new starfleet uniforms too.

This set is an awesome idea...but the execution is horrible. The price point makes the set not even worth thinking about getting. Seriously, for what you get, 6,000 is too much. 12,000? No. I will concede that the raider in this bundle may be the only lock box ship Picard actually served on, but I can think of many lock box ships I'd rather own as an account unlock. Raiders and escorts are useless in my hands. I play cruisers. I love the Galaxy class, but the Galaxy class ship in this game seems to be named after it's turn radius. So, even if it were a T6, it is also unusable by me. One or two of the uniforms are nice, and I would use them, but I don't think I'd ever get around to using all of them.
Even though I'm not getting this set, I do have some concerns on behalf of those who will. What about those people who spent a tribble ton of in game resources so they could get more than one copy of the raider for several of their captains? I think they should be compensated. If you already have the Tommy gun, and you buy this set, does that mean you can now equip one on your captain and one for a BOFF in your away team?
I am all for selling ships out of the Z-store instead of lock boxes, but I think there's a better way to do it.
Like many others talking about this bundle, I own everything in it aside from the Miradorn Raider and Picard’s “Privateer” uniform, which I believe is a Lobi outfit. (?)
It's a decent deal at 6k Zen for folks that don't own any of this stuff. At 12k Zen, not even close.
If this was regularly priced at 6k, I'd wait until a 20% off sale to happen to buy it since I would only want the Miradorn and Privateer uniform. But, I would likely spend the 4800 Zen doing that IF they were account unlocks. I'm going to guess everything in this bundle would indeed be an account unlock, but there have been items in the past we thought should be account unlocks that weren't. (Combat Tardigrade, anyone?)
And since the article doesn't clearly state that everything is an account wide unlock, I'll hope for the best but plan for the worst. And realistically, I'm not going to get this bundle anyway since I DO own 90% of it and I seriously doubt there will be any further discount for owning parts of this one. So while it is nice at 6k Zen, I simply can't justify spending that much for 1 ship and 1 outfit for myself.
Now, if they made a "starter bundle" with the Miradorn Raider and the “Privateer” uniform, for say 4k Zen, I might jump on that if the items were account unlocks. Actually, I would, no might about it.

I already own everything except for the Miradorn, and not really interested in that. All my kidding above aside, I am really excited for the new Constellation skin. The T5U is fine for flying missions, but I would seriously love to see a T6 Heavy Crusier along with any other canon non T6 ships.
The miradorn on the exchange right now is like 8500 in zen to get the keys providing the keys are on sale.
As to the rest, I have some of it not all of it.
The idea of miradorn going in separately, remember what they did with the galor class starship, its in the dominion pack and not separate. Only the new cardassian ships are separate.
Hmm... First of all - can someone please explain what does this Miradorn ship has to do with Picard? I thought it was a themed bundle.
Honestly, I feel kinda sad about this "bundle". It doesn't look like there was any effort put into preparing it. Some already ingame items were mixed together and voila - new bundle for 12k. I woulnd't say a word if there was some new and themed T6 ship in there - like a T6 Galaxy remake or something like this... But that Miradorn raider seems completely random selected just to justify the insane price of that package. And people would actually go for the ship and not for what the bundle actually stands for. So for me personally (and I don't mean it as an insult) it's just a bundle described like: "we sell some mostly random items that should be themed because it's a good opportunity due to the new show, BUT actually it's a random lockbox ship sale".
I'm not really interested in the Miradorn ship. I'd be a much much happier to see that the game is getting rid of bugs than "bundles" like this. I submitted like 5 bug reports in the last two weeks. And those were only the most annoying ones.
Well, while the pack is good as a thought it needs some spicing up. For example if someone mains a KDF side toon or plays mostly or exclusively KDF then the only thing that are Potentially useful(if not owned already) are the T6 cross faction ship and the gun. You definitely need at least one crossfaction ship more cause even for Federation players, it may feel a bit high priced for what it offers.
Hmm... First of all - can someone please explain what does this Miradorn ship has to do with Picard? I thought it was a themed bundle...
The Miradorn was featured as a mercenary ship during the TNG episodes Gambit P1 and Part 2 in which Picard plays the part of (mercenary) Galen. See also that the Privateer uniform that comes in the bundle is the outfit Picard wears as Galen. These two items were released originally in 2017 with the Privateer Lock Box. So these items do fit in Picard's history, just not as iconically as the Galaxy, Constellation, and the other uniforms.
It is surely strange (at best) that the Miradorn is featured as the primary item in a "Picard Bundle" and other much more appropriate ships (like the T6 Gal and/or T5/T6 Sovie) are not included. If the Miradorn were include in addition to other hero ships, it'd make much more sense.
You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.
The only things I don't own are the Miradorn Raider and the new Picard outfit... which could be valued at best to be $35.50 or 3,550 zen. I almost see no point in buying it at 60 bucks, much less 120. However I know Mr. Kael has got to eat, so I won't discourage anyone from buying it, I just don't see a point in me buying it without some compensation.
The outfit Picard had while being part of the crew of the Miradorn Raider is a Lobi Crystal item.
Most Lobi items aren't account unlock (since I haven't got one yet, I don't know if this one is or not), so it would give greater value than buying individual outfits for each character (and the greater the number of characters you have, the more it's worth the account unlock.
For the ship, well we may or may not be able to have Lockbox ships become account unlockable, so that would affect overall price in comparison to having to 'win' a T6 ship from an infinity Lockbox (or if you have the older Lockbox that originally had it, which was released at the same time as the outfit) or purchasing it in the Exchange.
All the same, I'm also don't own either the ship nor the outfit. It would be great to have a discount, like we were able to have (eventually) with the Discovery Operations Pack if we've already purchased the Discovery Starter Pack (which was released earlier).
The Miradon Raider (or Miradon Theta as it was referred to) was seen in the TNG episodes 'Gambit pts 1 & 2', where Picard posed as a pirate, and wore the privateer outfit which is, incidentially, included in the bundle.
Well, at least some reference. But still it's kinda vague to me. But thanks for the explanation

I totally agree on this. I didn't even remember that Miradorn ship was somehow related to Picard...
Picard served on the miradorn class ship in 2 episodes *not by choice* where these pirates were in search of a vulcan artifact *weapon* operated thru thought.
It's an account-wide unlock of a lock box ship. A single-character unlock of an account-wide ship requires buying around 100 lock box keys and selling them for credits, OR opening 250 lock boxes for a 67% chance of winning at gambling.
Looked at that way, 12000 zen is a decent price for the ship by itself if you want the ship for at least 2 characters.
Trait: Self: +20 Armor Penetration with weapons while flanking
That seems like a nice trait if you fly tactical ships.
Myself, I don't happen to want the ship but for people who do the price seems fine to me.
I personally do want the miradorn but the cost on the exchange was high, 6k for this pack on sale at 50 percent norm being 12k , is tolorable, not perfect. As to the rest, I have all of the other ships and not really interested in the uniforms at all. As to the galaxy bridge, that is like 2k on the c-store which for me was a bit high to begin with so I refused to get it.
If it wasnt for the fact that I want the miradorn, I would likely pass on this.
Anyways, looking at the picture for the updated skin for the Constellation.... It sure has a lot of shuttlebay doors. Would be nice if it would have at least one slot for hanger pets.

Because they want a tie in of some sort as the show is starting up.

Interesting idea, not so great execution. IMHO it's priced too high even at the 50% discount for the content. I like the idea of offering lockbox ships for sale in the Zen Store - I hope this becomes a trend. Owning all but the Miradorn ship I cannot justify 6,000 Zen. JHMO.

Maybe it should have been called the TNG Bundle, and then the new stuff released after ST:Picard premiere being called the Picard Bundle.
The new stuff coming out with the Picard Show will be Lockbox/R&D Infinity Promotion.
I seem to recall people slobbering about paying 12k Zen for C-Store R&D Ships. Well here you are.

Nope. And possibly won't be ten ships either since Ambassadorkael said, in last week's livestream, he knew nothing about it and didn't know where the 10 ship thing came from.
Did the person asking about 10 ships even mention for c-store?
yep unless the miradorn trait is a must have trait, the only way I'd even consider this bundle is if you can have Wesley Crusher as a Boff, and when he's on the away team, the other three boffs spend idle time shouting SHUT UP, Wesley! and smacking him

That's funny. Given that it was brought up on the Ten Forward Weekly 2019/2020 Roadmap livestream during a discussion between Kael and Andre Emerson at the 35 minute mark. 🤨
