Kelvin Admiral Uniform Giveaway

With the Kelvin timeline being brought back into the limelight with the new lock box should star trek online bring back this Giveaway I think so

    It should either be given away again, or just unlocked for everyone permanently. I already have it, but believe that everyone who didn't happen to be around for that limited window deserves a chance at getting it.
    This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

    Wish they'd also add other ranks so we can use it as a dress uniform as well.

    The dress uniforms are the same style as the Admiral's uniform after all.

    I hope they do that. I started playing STO not very long after that giveaway ended. Wish I hadn't missed it being the costume fiend I am now.

    The collars are very different, as well as the seam in the front. But yes, I also vote for adding the dress uniform.

    I want the actual Kelvin uniforms, personally. The grey dress uniforms rub me as a bit too fascistoid, I never liked them.

    Alas! The, "We'll Never Do Hats! Even if you beg for them constantly!", faction of the Dev Team has seized control of the lunchroom and the employee breakroom. Which is where the employee restrooms are as well. Faced with such a devastating fait accompli, the rest of the Dev Team meekly submitted to the rise of only bare headed player characters.

    The baseball caps were included by a secretive insurgency with the Dev team. Which used a clever maskirovka to distract the others while a brave suicide programmer boldly accessed the hamsters in the server farm and taught them about the magic of headgear. She paid the ultimate price for her heresy and was quickly sent to the QA staff at the Quicken Loans website. She will be remembered.

    I don't even remember seeing this outfit. I assume I have it, its just so bland as to be unmemorable.

    Would not mind seeing them add it to the Lantium store. Along with other former promotional outfits they have done in the past so players can claim them if they didn't get it for free.

    Phoenix box is always an option, at least for outfits that don't have a store unlock.

    Any chance with the new lockbox that they might fix the admirals uniform so that you can put the correct rank on the epaulets on the shoulder

    They'd have to add more than just Admiral to the rank list as well.

    That would be an excellent gesture by Cryptic.

    I also agree that the dress version would be a superb extra with the hat lol.

    You should learn to watch shows you claim to like. The uniforms are no different than the TMP jumpsuits and in The Cage Pike has the exact same hat in his quarters.
    I don't think Pike's hat is 100% identical, though it was very, very close.

    While hats weren't that big a thing in Star Trek, they did exist.
