Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out

in Windows and General: PC, Network, and Other Technical Issues
was in the middle of a story mission, when suddenly, the game logged me off, and every time I try to log back in, I get "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" I've shut down the game client several times to see if that helps, even restarted the computer. no dice.

    Likewise. Attempting login to Cryptic Secure Guard yields a 'AccountServer not connected' error as well.

    I was swapping my toons to fill over night Admiralty missions.
    Then it just crashed and I get this every time:
    Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out
    AT LAST IT AIN'T JUST ME.
    I was already thinking my IAP had fiddled with DSN again
    I hope this gets fixed - I need to run Sompek tomorrow else I won't make 14 tokens by the end of event on Thursday

    Yeah, I get the same error. Seems the account servers are being assimilated.

    Unable to sign in... And the site will not take my password or my new password and my newest password... The signal says the server is online but...

    Getting the same message. The hamster will soon stop drinking and get back spinning that wheel and support will tell us two weeks from now that everything is working as intended. Assuming we get anything.

    Same here. Although to me is somewhat different. I log through Arc. But this time it asks me to give my credentials on game window as well. I give them and... nothing. It doesn't leave me log. I am connecting from Europe - Greece - Athens

    I raised a ticket.

    Since the server status is green (availble) I'd expect to be able to login.

    Hamsters stopped drinking and went back spinning!

    Of course, this will happen again some time soon, as no serious investigation is ever made on the cause of the numerous server issues!
