Just claimed the T6 coupon. I am science based Captain who likes to fly science ships. I make great use of Tyken's Rift and Gravity Wells so Lt. Commander and Commander Sci slots are a must. So what T6 science vessel would be ideal? Not opposed to a non-sci ship, if I can preserve Tyken's Rifts and Gravity wells. I currently fly the Intel Scryer vessel. Thanks in advance.
The "problem" with the coupon is that it's just one ship and will break a pack. But if you're not concerned about that:
Eternal Class: Basically no visual customization options other than materials, but a Temporal Science Vessel with the TEmporal Gimmick. Very good, and you cna expand your repertoire with new Temporal damage powers!
Nautilus Class: Similar to Eternal Class, with a 23rd century costume and a 27th century costume (at least I Think you get both if you get the Tier 6 version).
Tier 6 Vesta Class (probably the tactical version?): No Temporal Gimmick, but Temporal Seats exist, and the Commander slot is reserved for Gravity Well III anyway. Lots of customization options exist, if you own the lower tier ships or other variants. If not, less so.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
Those are good choices. I'm actually debating between the Nautilus and Dauntless myself for sci, though I'm looking at that escort with the gravwell trait too.
I already have the Eternal and the other two from getting the three-pack. It's an awesome ship.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Thanks everyone. You have given me some things to think about. The Andorian Escort with the gravity well trait is looking pretty darn tempting.
Yeah, the trait is really good. The Escort can be fun, too, due tot he pilot maneuers. And if you're tired of killing things only with Science at some point, it can be a good counter-point (and you could still use Gravity Well for old time's sake.)

Yes, it's an escort so no secondary deflector, subsystem targeting, or sensor analysis either.
Its mastery trait is very nice to use with any science ship and Gravy Well though, and it is fun to fly as an escort with science emphasis and pilot maneuvers.
Wanted to say thanks again. I went ahead and got the Chimesh for the gravity well trait. Turns out I like this ship a lot. Granted I lose my Gravity Well III due to a lack of a Commander Sci seat. But I went with Gravity Well II in place of Tyken's Rift. So far, I am kicking butt and taking names. Kind of nice to be using cannons and science abilities. Once, I have the Grav trait unlocked, I will put that on my primary science ship the Scryer and see how much more effective I am. You all rock and thanks!

Chimesh doesn't have Commander Sci seat.
