  They look fantastic. Every single one of them, probably the most beautiful visual in the game. I'm just not willing to pay 200m EC for a one character unlock vanity shield. The odds of getting one out of a weapon pack are ludicrous.

  Agreed... imagine my surprise, when I had one drop for me... I really was rather torn on whether to sell or not... no regrets at all in keeping it.
  
  I will say though, I do wish that the lighting in all sections of the game, were equal... there are some places where this visual appears virtually white. I;m guessing it has something to do with how this shields reflectivity interacts with the lighting,

  Does anyone have any idea exactly how ludicrous the odds are? As an example, is it roughly the same odds as getting the big reward ship out of the lockbox? Or is it more like getting the omni directional beam?

  If there is something that TRIBBLE me off, is that is character bound.. the odds to get one are almost the same as the omni, i'm ok with the ships bound, but a vanity shield?? C'mon!

  Having it account bound like lock box weapons does make more sense, since it doesn't unlock a mastery trait like the ships do.

  Dear Devs and the saint who put this beauty together,
  Many, many thanks for this shield visual. As I have been going through the various ships in my inventory (just a wee small collection), I keep getting blown away. Section 31 is most certainly alive and well in the 25th century.

  I wish I could show my ship with it but I just lost the vanity shield after mistakenly discarding the ship I tried it on. I don't ever normally make this mistake.

  It seems as if the Section 31 Phasers really maintain their beam for a long time. Which fits the show. Not sure what the lightning was, maybe the new rep gear set effect?
