Extended Maintenance 5/29/19

Greetings Captains!
We will be having a maintenance on all platforms tomorrow, 5/29 at 5AM Pacific for 6 hours. (What time is this for me?)
You can find our PC patch notes here. Console will be having routine maintenance only, so there are no patch notes.

    According to what i saw on the ARC launcher this is an ARC maintenance and we all know if its ARC maintenance it always runs anywhere from 1 to 4 hours over the original estimate, so i will check back with the game around 5pm my time :) !
    Note: I do realize that maintenance on equipment is necessary but always tell us you need more time and surprise us when it takes less :).

    Thursday has been the traditional PC maintenance day for as long as I've played STO, so this works better for me as I got thursday free while I can get back home only at about 18:00 (local) anyway so the maintenance won't impact me as badly today.

    I love the game. I have put money into the game.
    I am not a hater or a troll.
    But the reputation 50 marks for dilithium needs to be enable. Because I have achieved what want out of the game.
    I also tried of weekly updates. Especially long wind maintenance. I don't like the discovery story arc because Discovery is not cannon. Star trek is about the future. We need more stories about the Dominion, bajor, and the Borg. More space battles less ground stories. I DON'T LIKE THE PERSONAL ENDEAVORS. THEY ARE UNNECESSARY.

    The launcher told me patching was a day earlier than usual.

    Hopefully this is replaces the Thursday Maintenance instead of being an additional maintenance.

    If not, no big deal.. but it would be nice.. :smile:

    And apparently Log in is impossible the day before maintenance too. Smh

    Resolved an issue that caused Photonic Shockwave and some similar abilities to repel foes more than intended

    Thanks. That was quite the push if you're the foe. Had me scratching my head a couple times.

    Until further notice, "Cure Applied" and "Cure Applied (Advanced)" are no longer part of the Random TFO rotations.
    They may still be played by entering the TFO manually from the master list.

    Something broken? Anybody know why they're being removed from the RTFO list?

    Overwhelming Force was also causing that issue with its repel.

    Nice fixes, but sad to see no fix to for Discovery and AOY toons being unable to use T6 ships until after the reach ESD in 2409 :-(
    People ask how long have I been playing STO - well the answer is simple: I have been here since the beginning. I just haven't always had a lot to say.

    My guess is they were to hard for the casual random TFO player, ive seen a lot of runs fail because people just dont know what to do!
    The Borg ground TFO's are a bit harder and require more thinking ;) and actually team work! then usual so they fail, not talking or replying in chat doesnt help either. :(

    I landed on one of them once, didnt know a damn thing tried to get someone to explain it to me on chat but refused. kept playing as if i wasnt even there. then yelled cause noone knew what they were doing. Another time i did them someone did take the time to explain we beat them.

    Yeah, I got pushed so far ( over 25,000 ) one time, I was SURE that some Dev had misplaced a decimal point in the software. ;):smiley:

    I know there is a ground glithc....one of the transformers you need to use is covered by a large tree that prevents you from reaching it. :o

    That change was - on a new toon, you can only do that after you reach Tier 5 in a given reputation on that toon.

    This is not broken and is working as intended. It is the tutorial for those characters and must be completed.

    I agree we need more stories about the future but I enjoy the discovery storyline. as for ground and space battles they give us both instead of just one as Star Trek was about "exploration" not just war. So you need ground battles or ground quests too. For someone saying they are not a hater you sure sound like a hater lol.

    Second, certain C-Store ships CAN be used by those two factions upon completion “Explore Earth Spacedock” and “Reporting In” - such as the T6 Jem'Hadar Vanguard Dreadnought Cruiser and any of the ships you have account unlocked in the Reputation Store (eg, the T6 Vulcan T'Pau Class Scout Ship and the T6 Vorgon Ytijara Dreadnought Cruiser). I certainly had no problem using the Jem'Hadar Vanguard Dreadnought during the AOY missions, or the Vorgon Ytijara for the Age of Discovery missions

    Thirdly, “Explore Earth Spacedock” and “Reporting In” are set BEFORE the jump to ESD 2409 in the mission list. Way before the jump, lol. The entire AOD and AOY arcs are not the tutorial, and never have been. See the mission listed in the link above.

    Lastly, several others and myself have reported this and have been told by several GMs that the Devs know about it and are working on a fix because it is indeed a bug.

    People ask how long have I been playing STO - well the answer is simple: I have been here since the beginning. I just haven't always had a lot to say.

    What about universal endeavor system picking unavailable TFOs like Battle at the Binary Stars?
