Holy hell. Someone else knows the greatest series ever created. (They are taking their sweet time releasing next part of Saishuushou/das Finale though...)

I've watched it twice now. Once with English Subs, then later I actually found the English Dub. Plan to watch the movie soon, and wish that the game came over to the US. Also wish that game was also for PC and XBox rather than Playstation exclusive. >.<
Who needs World of Tanks when you got Girls und Panzer.
Still need to finish my rewatch of Arpeggio of Blue Steel, check out High School Fleet, and maybe even finish Fate/Zero.
Been on a Hayley Kiyoko kick lately. One might not think a cishet white dude could find something relatable in the music of an Asian TRIBBLE, but some feelings are just universal, and Hayley knows how to push those buttons. She's like Janelle Monae; not so much is musical style but as in both are pop performers who deserve to be WAY more popular than they currently are.
Um, not sure why the L word was censored. It isn't a slur. Editing my post like this made me look like some kind of anti-LGBTQ bigot and I do not appreciate that. I mean, it would be like if I wrote a post where I described myself as Dutch-Irish, and the Mods replaced Dutch with VULCAN. I mean, what?
Had to go back and rewatch Girls und Panzer when I saw the music linked above. I discovered there's a lot of content I never saw back when WoT was still new and GuP was an obvious cash-in on that franchise. (I have been waiting for Boys und Schlachtschiff for a while now.)
@brian334: I had to look Victory at Sea up. That seems like the the sort of thing I get into.
I watched the series one summer with my grandfather, who served in the navy in WW2. It was showing on PBS and it opened up conversations between us about a lot of things which, I think, we'd never have otherwise discussed. For me the series comes with a commentary from a person who lived through it, albeit in a minor role. But I recommend it as an overview or introduction into the Naval War of WW2.
Keep in mind that it was produced prior to the opening of many secret files on the war, and it accepted the propaganda of the era as its premise. From today's perspective it may seem to be a propaganda piece, but in the context of its time it was about as good as it got.
The music won some awards in its time, and it seems like it has staying power. You can feel the waves when the piccolos trill! But perhaps I have emotional attachments that others lack.
Welcome to the STO forums, where some words that are censored don't even make sense.
That's right. Typing TRIBBLE as if it is a bleepable word. If it is not really a dirty word and you hyphenate the Devs usually leave it. So the board will hide TRIBBLE but it won't hide c-r-a-p.
I'm fond of listening to some powerful voices in music where Marco Hietala is singing either directly or as supporting. There hasn't been many Nightwish songs where he has had his moment but he has been in other bands as featuring or directly in one or two instances.
Infact i might listen to Storytime, Devil and the Deep Deark Ocean and The Islander on the Nightwish bid again.. and maybe Ghost lovescore? perhaps.

"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

Shinedown's 2015 album (the Japanese release with two extra tracks). I've never listened because the reviews weren't good.
I think it's better than Sound of Madness.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Once you get past the knock-off TOS intro there is some pretty good stuff.
