I might pick up the Fleet Variants with my T6 Reputation fleet modules. But the $120 pack itself is an absolute rip-off, and there are more people who agree with me than those who don't.
Having played the Battle of Binary Stars (when I wasn't flying skinless ), the one ship that I would have wanted more than the Nimitz/Europa-class Battleships are the 'X-wing' starships. Please don't ask me which class it is, considering I don't know where to look it up.
Too bad that one couldn't be added with a third Klingon ship to the bundle.
I dislike SCALING ships. Someone mentioned..."it has been asked"? by whom or where is the data. People have been asking for pet tabs longer than scaling and there you go.
My reason is simple...I don't trust Cryptic with money or scaling ships to meet certain hull leveling. I bought a Walker this way and get better numbers with any other ships and avoid scaling ships like the plague.
I find the concept of a scaling starship interesting. Properly implemented it could be quite useful for people who don't like swapping out starships every few levels.
However, I've been noticing that the scaling values appear a bit off. For instance the new battle cruiser, 3 fore weapons and 2 aft at level 1?!? That would be ridiculously overpowered for a new character, considering that every Tier 1 starship has 2 fore 1 aft.
I think the scaling curve should be adjusted to bring them more in line with conventional lower tier ships.
Aside from that gripe, I like the stats of the battle cruiser and will likely purchase it at some point. I'm not a fan of the Disco Klingon designs so I won't bother with any bundles. (Still disappointed at the 'value' of the full bundle, so I won't bother with that either.)

That is the entire point of buying a Zen ship at lower levels, though.

Disappointed by the lack of interest to upgrade the scaling level of the walker cruiser. The gagarin cruiser looks interesting, almost similar enough in capability to an excelsior at least. i might look into the gagarin at some point.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Gonna get the Garagin, but not buying the pack. I can't even remember the last time I posted here but seriously this pack needs tweaks Cryptic. The main arguments have been said across all the boards for this pack but seriously, fix your mess.

Even lower tier C-Store ships don't have weapon setups like this. Though, if it is Cryptic's intent to render current lower tier ships obsolete, then releasing ships like this would accomplish that nicely.
I'm gonna get the Fleet Magee Light Pilot Escort but thats it. I'd get the Walker skin if it was purchasable for like 800 ZEN but i will in no way be buying the whole pack.
*Sigh*... I remember a day not too long ago when the Romulans were actually a faction. It would be amazing to have a scaling Warbird for our toons. I have a question that I'd like to hear from a dev on... do you folks intend to EVER make another new Romulan-specific ship, or are we just being pushed aside?
The fed ships are beautiful, the stats not bad (though I wish i could trade out one forward weapon on the battlecruiser for an exsperimental weapon slot) I just personally don't like how the disco era kdf ships look, the art team did a great job on them, though I would hope to have the option of swapping looks out for some of KDF ships of the line. Otherwise I honestly would just be using some holoemmitter skins. (something I wish was not on a limited use but more like a vanity shield being a constant look.) The bundle as a whole just really is not tempting, STO setting a pretty high bar with prior bundles.
Space is vast, it's wonderful and maddening. Yet in that madness is some of the greatest beauty I have ever seen.

Well, we know that the main reason that Warbirds are not coming out with the Discovery ships mainly because Discovery thus far does not have deisgns for Romulan ships, which means that they cannot feature something that doesn't exist.
Now, there is such a thing as them creating Romulan ships before with little to go on, but I think in this case, they don't even want to attempt anything here. Remember that as Discovery is on going, the Romulans could still make an appearance in some form without the Federation knowing. The Klingons could deal with them. Since there's the possibility, they do NOT want to see their work screwed by something that doesn't look like it's from Discovery.
Gagarin seems decent. Stats are okay as far as I can tell and the trait seems interesting for beam boats with one torpedo launcher. A setup which I use.
Might pick that up in time.
Now that this seems to be a good ship does that mean the Cardenas will suck?

Once again...if it wasn't for the fact that we are coming up on a YEAR since the last Romulan ship, this would be a whatever deal...but as it stands now...yeah no.
Why does it matter how long it's been since a Romulan ship came out? If I remember correctly, the Romulan ships weren't warbirds at all.
Keep in mind that the devs gave Romulans to players because the players wanted to play as Romulans. They didn't have to expand on the ships like they did after Legacy of Romulus, yet they did.
Also keep in mind that It's been over a half a year since Jem'hadar came out as a faction. They're still stuck with the same ships. They also don't have Veteran ships that cryptic said were gonna be made.
I'm sticking by my belief that the devs simply are out of design ideas for Romulan ships and have decided to scale them back since VIL came out, hence them opening both Jem'hadar and Romulans to the full advantage of T5 and T6 ships, with limits.

That's all I am looking for. That ship is mine once it hits the C-Store. LOL!
Pack....don't care.
Still don't have a decent picture. I am blind as a bat already.....get some light on that thing!!!

I wonder what it is about…?
Edit:
Found it - it's Miracle Worker ships mechanic

And on the pilot ships ... They are 4/2 which is one less than standard escorts which are 4/3, making them raiders.
Will they have flanking added to them to balance it out?

I already have the Pilot Raptor trio.

But does this mean the DSC era skins/materials will be only for the fleet ship versions?
Also people talking ROM ships, maybe the romulan D7 could be scaling?
Bring the Enterprise XCV-330 to STO
Thank you, kellmg96
I really like the 25th Century Skins. Any chance of adding 25th Century skins for the other Discoverse ships?
