I can suggest the T6 Miracle Worker cruisers., especially the tactical-focused one so you can have access to a 3-slot tac station.
Your Mileage May Vary for their looks (personally, I love them), but they're pretty solid and do their "tank-ish support" job right.
The MW random abilities are just gimmick, but since you don't need to do much or even wait a mandatory time to activate them (because they activate if you use sci, tac or eng abilities in a certain order, and they don't reset if you get the order wrong), they're welcome bonuses.
They have access to MW Boff abilities which aren't really here to nuke your enemies, but useful to annoy them and assist your allies.
They're also great for faster space travel across the map and the Tour of the Galaxy as their Quantum Slipstream Drive lasts 90s with only a 30s cooldown, compared to the normal 30s duration for 2min cooldown.
A BIG thank you for everyone's advice especially on Fleet T6 Arbiter vs Vengeance-Class Dreadnought (also known as the Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser).
A very interesting and informative thread, especially from a user's point of view!
Just curious, how does the Lobi ship Vengeance-Class Dreadnought (also known as the Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser) compare to the Fleet T6 Arbiter? That's something I've always wanted to ask...
...I have a lot of C-Store and Lobi/Lockbox ships, and the Arbiter holds pace with every single one of them. ...
They're very comparable actually. Very similar bridge officer and console layout, both have access to Intel Spec, they surprisingly have the same turn rate (though the Arbiter has better Inertia) and both have the desirable 5/3 weapon layout.
The Vengeance ultimately has a slight advantage because it can cloak without using any console slots and it has a Hangar Bay. The Vengeance is also dual spec and also has access to Temporal Operative.
The Arbiter on the other hand is an account wide unlock which is very nice. The Vengeance is a little better, but not by a lot. The Arbiter is competitive with anything you can get.
Vengence is arguably more popular though, at least judging by the number I routinely see. I mean, despite being an account unlock ship I don't see anywhere NEAR as many Arbiter class ships as I do Vengence class.
I'd say 98% of the STF/TFO's I play have at least one Vengence class on the team.
Yeah, Vengeance is very popular.
This was a rare occasion where Cryptic made the most desirable ship in a lock box the Lobi Variant (Vengeance) opting to make the Heavy Command Cruiser the 'Grand Prize.'
It's desirability means people that want to make money off a Lobi Ship usually pick the Vengeance to sell since it's so popular. This works out well for the buyer because the price is pretty low due to supply. The one I got for my main I picked up for 190M EC.. that's insane for such a good ship. The usual price of 200-220M is generally too good for most of us filthy DPS'ers to pass up.
Another ship I've had good results with is the T5-U APU Cruiser. I'm running a turret build on mine and it's quite a bit more effective than I expected it to be. As a bonus you'll almost never see another player flying one.
All I know is that in the Badlands Terran Counterattack Phase, if there was a Vengeance or Scimitar around you'd struggle to get more than Tier 1 rewards at the end of the Phase.

Sounds like we're in need of a new 'what would you nerf?' thread

Now that that's made clear... on to the next issue: when are playable Voth coming, and where's are my T7 Vesta and C-store purchasable real life shuttle?
Nah, I've got both anyway. And besides the most important thing to get from that Phase was the two Elite Marks anyway.

That's a badlands problem, not a ship problem.
I have been one of those Vengeance or Scimitars and still received the same T1 reward. It's been bugged since it went into the game.
It might help if they made the ships immune for a few seconds. The biggest problem is that the ships are usually destroyed before you can fire at them (if you're not using FAW but cannons or exotic abilities which require the front of your ship to face the enemy).
If they scaled the rewards accordingly to compensate for the fact that ... five, maybe seven times over? a couple of seconds immunity for the enemy means that less ships can be destroyed, there would be no serious drawbacks to such a change. But it would give everyone a fair chance to earn their rewards.
Anyway, to not fully go off-topic: the problem is not with those ships indeed. I love the Vengeance.

But seriously, chronos is the best ship zen can buy.
You shouldn't state things like this like they are facts, because they absolutely are not.
If you think the Chronos is the best ship, then great.. state your reasons and be clear it's your opinion. I would wager quite a bit that you're in the vast minority thinking the Chronos is the best ship you can buy.
ok, to understand my angle: I fly an intel sheshar. I love big ships, I love ships with immense firepower, I love ships with huge HP pool, I love pets, the more the merrier.
With chronos: it's zen. You need the pack tho. It's big, has HP, has tac consoles, has magic damage with temporal seatings(!) plural. Has hangar for 2 frigates. Best admiralty cards. Best ship if you have only mediocre gear.
JH vg carrier if you love pets. 4 frigates plus 2 wingmen = love. I'm slave to pet classes in MMOs.
So I decided to buy some ZEN for the holidays and I am deciding on which T6 Ship to buy and outfit. My main is a max level fed tac officer. I have been playing, and max leveled, a Temporal DK Cruiser. I am getting sort of tired of it. Any recommendations? Anything generally "more fun"?
Well, I had a massive stroke of luck. I decided to throw some Zen, during the 30% flash sale, at on one of the discounted four-pack R&D Promotion boxes (which I generally abhor, but wanted some of the +50 catalysts and figured could use the Lobi too) and this happened on the last one I opened:
[ItemReceived] Item acquired: Special Requisition Choice Pack - Tier 6 Promotional Ship Choice Pack
But now have no idea which ship to pick!
Wait.
Or sell it for EC.
Otherwise, I think the Connie is simply one of the most fun picks. It has the most customization options, and it has an interesting BO layout. Since it's Temporal, you're not stuck with any irrelevant Engineering Command powers and can almost fly it like a Science Exotic ship (of course, no Megawell, only Discount Well.)
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

Huh... didn't think about putting a miniwell on a Connie...
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Honestly I found the new Cardassian ships were very inflexible as they were either tac, sci or eng heavy with no ltcom universal boff seat, their stats are too much like the Fed Intel ships except only lacking a lieutenant intel boff seat. They did have some nice universal consoles though.
My next T6 from the C-Store hasn't been released yet.

the light cruiser choices rock.
More for everyone else.
If you already own that and you're a solid escort fan, wholeheartedly pick the "Thozyn Andorian Escort" T6.
Both of these got DPS-oriented traits, have 5 fore weaponry and they're solid choices for feds who want to pack a bag of punches.
