Also needed a T6 Science Cruiser, that can wear any Science or Cruiser skin.
Those old T5 mirror ships don’t go for a whole lot. This is a T6. Your looking at minimum, bargain basement price, of 200 million EC. And yes it would go for more than that.

How are KDF-Aligned Romulans to unlock the starship trait "Superior Area Denial? Can they unbox it despite it saying (Klingon)? Fed-aligned Romulans have no problem since the ship is "Faction: Federation and Federation-aligned." Clarification required, please.
You can open it up on a KDF-Rom just fine. I had a Starship Trait box from a previous Infinity on one of my KDF-Roms, and the Superior Area Denial was at the bottom of the list, which I grabbed. In general, if there isn't a specific Romulan version of something, you can use the item of the faction you allied to instead.
If it unlocked the MU ISS/pattern for all fed ships it have lot more incentive to get one. That or ship more likely to be a carrier. aka Hoover class

Thanks for that clip. Kael mentioned about discussing the possibility of wearing I.S.S. prefix on all ships [00:07:40] Goddamn that is all I want! Tell the higher ups they can charge me 1000 zen for it. If their goal is to keep it restricted to few Lobi ships I can guarantee you I won't bother. Because lot of those ships I don't care or like the aesthetic design and have favorite ships of my own that I rather use the I.S.S. on them and the MU logo/paint job.
I really like the Terran knife emblem on the hull. Shame it restricted to one ship though. Maybe one day "In the grim darkness of the far future......" they will become available as ship patterns for ALL Fed ships.

This console provides a passive boost to Exotic Damage and Auxiliary Power. It can be equipped in any console slot on any ship. You may only equip one of these consoles.
No it doesn't - its a flat epg boost which was rather less desirable - Get your own terminology right cryptic, please.
Devs, please make this ship leveling a thing across the board with a token in the C-Store, or make the level scaled ships themselves a C-Store item. This is the solution to "can I have a T6 [insert ship here]".

Because they will make a lot more money on it by putting it in a lock box, obviously. And if they make a lot more money, they can create a lot more content for this game we play.
I see this being very sought after. The ability to fly this all the way from the tutorial is a game changer.
I agree it should have been a c-store ship since I can not see too many people opening a TRIBBLE load lock boxes to get a ship on a new toon. but I could see people buying it from the c-store and using it on al their toons.
so the leveling part of it is pretty much a waste imo since most people will use it on a toon that is already level 65.

Yes the very obsolete T5 MU ships. The one selling point was they gave you mirror universe skins for their respective class ships, which only two of them can be used for endgame T6 ships (the rest don't have T6 equivalents) (Mirror Universe Star Cruiser/Prime Universe Assault Cruiser & Mirror Universe Patrol Escort/Prime Universe's Advanced Escort) NO you can't use the I.S.S. on the T6 ships.Only the T5 lobi which makes the whole thing meaningless, besides the MU pattern skin you get. Why they included only the option to use the pattern and not both is beyond me.
I am just cynical right now because they put the I.S.S. (in my opinion) on the most ugliest Disco ship they could find. The ship itself looks like a escort even though it's scaled up to be the same size as the Hoover class. It just looks like Malachowski class but bigger with hull straps.
The Cardenas and Hoover would have been better choices for being a carrier with fighters.

Love the new T6 ship idea, I had thought of this back in November or December of 2014 when I started to play STO again. Had lost my job in 2009 just after I brought a Deluxe Edition of the game, no money to keep playing after the free month, very glad to see free to play when was able to pay for monthly sub.
Very happy with most game upgrades, but it still does not completely feel like being part of Star Trek episode/series, a little more so now with upgradable starships. Still some things to make it feel the way it needs to is missing!
Upgrading T6 ships, long over due, but lets get this right the first time around. How about using the shipyard construction docks at the home worlds to do upgrades and using the outdated T5-U modules and pay a 100 zen to help Cryptic keep our game going. If they do not keep making money the game will die, they are a business after all is said and done. I would like to watch my ships go into a space dock and cut to a the ship edit screen and tell it to be tactical, engineering, or science style starship layout. As U buy the modules U can upgrade all in game ships from T1 to T6 and open up slots, say what seats, consoles, and special seating it has! Start with 3 universal seats, 6 consoles slots, and what special it is [ miracle, intell., command, temporal, etc.], as U level up your character and get more skills and abilities.
Maybe even have what type of weapons layout starting with 2 front and 2 back up to 5 front and 5 back, from 2 device slots up 5 device slots. If starship main choice layout is eng. 5 slots max open, if sci. 5 slots max open, tac. 5 slots max, then secondary choice 4 slots, then third choice 3 slots, or if a balance layout is your choice 4 max eng., sci., and tac., 12 total slots for all 4 layout types!
Side note how about adding a single solid color choice for all starship parts and mirror universe patterns!
