I haven't run a parse on them, but my Jupiter was running 2 bays of Elite Swarmers and that was the most effective for me. I found yellowstones to be pretty average overall. The worst was the Callisto Frigates though.. man those things are just absolutely useless, avoid at all costs.

    Darn, my post was swallowed.
Did anyone ever parse these two sets?

    https://sto.gamepedia.com/Reformation_Reinforcements_Set#Console_-_Universal_-_Cardassian_Mobile_Torpedo_Platform

Was a bit bored last night and threw together a spawn build with those sets on a Science Command BattleCruiser.
Everything melted swiftly on Argala Advanced during test runs, despite the fact that i just threw random stuff together on that ship to fill out slots
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Anyone got any early opinions on the new ship that comes out on the 9th? the battle crusier? it can have cannons but its turn rate is lower than that of the arb at least on paper. It's the Europa-class Heavy Battlecruiser [T6]

So looking at the ships and im torn between the arb everyone keeps telling me about and the really fast agile tact pilot ship ,i know the pilot wont be that durable , But really both scare me

Atm i tend to fly fast ships very nippy, cannons blazing ect

I'm not a min-max person, so take this with a grain fo salt. the Lafeyette is a GREAT ship. decent survivability, and I have never placed less than 3rd in crystalline catastrophy.

I just bought ALL Yellowstone Run abouts last night, now I'll have that toon copied to Tribble to figure out what build and skill tree to go with.
With all 8 Yellowstones out attacking......... they hit hard.
For a Carrier, what's recommend as far as Specializations...?..... to help and boost the hanger pets effectiveness?

sorry, Pryor, but i am calling Bullsqueeze. you cannot have 8 runabouts in the sky from one carrier. max you can have is 6. 3 per wing. and the callistos are FAR better than the yellowstones in my experience

Callisto's are the worst hangar pets in the game.

Somebody upthread mentioned the Andorian Chimesh. I second that. It has become my absolute favorite escort of all time. The ability to point cannons at the enemy and then, just as you get to the point of passing them, hit that little reverse icon, you get to do that strafing run all over again. Turns what should be a 18-20k DPS boat into a 35-40k boat.

I do want to get the Tac version for Promise of Ferocity but I would still fly the Chimesh.

I just looked on the wiki and it says a squad of Yellowstones is 2. So does your carrier have four hangar bays?
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

2 ships per wing, 2 wings per hangar, 2 hangars. This is one those times where pryor is right. You can have 8 Runabouts out of a Jupiter Carrier.
