Ironically, I came back on the 11th...now it's the 13th. This is precisely why I left in the first place.
I've probably played 12 different MMO's to end game and I've NEVER encountered a game that has a downtime that exceeds 4 hours every single week.
So any word on exactly -why- the maintenance keeps getting extended?

I just lost my event token for the voth event today. The time window i have right now is 1 pm est start, which 5:30 return time for arc screws up. thanks for loosing a day, soo much for the voth dino. i need 8 more and now im minus a day, another day next week lost for another long maintenance. oh well. soo much for this event. I wont move the time window cause of a maintenance run. its at 1pm for a reason, I wont and cant move it.
I don't know what I find funnier... the lack of competence in this maintenance or people who honestly think that NOT throwing your money at STO as if it were a coin-op game is some sort of protest. Nobody opened your wallet but you. I mean, what inclined you to open your wallet anyways? Up until this extended maintenance have you been completely oblivious? Or were you too caught up in the gimmicks of the C-Store? Either way, it won't matter. Just look at the player fallout around Delta Rising.
Dammit, I get a limited time to play, and that has been shot to hell today be these updates. It's really hard to be faithful when these kind of things happen. Moving over to Elder Scrolls, I'll spend my money there, update that.
I understand some idiot forgot their Cheetos in the server room. Most of the tribbles turning the wheels gorged themselves to death, and it turned out releasing the cannibal tribbles for emergency power was kind of counterproductive.
