When you say of the younger races, were there older spacefaring races that were physically more impressive than the Tzenkethi, Gorn, and Hur'q?
It can be argued that the Iconians are more impressive due to their age. While the Tzenkethi are quite obviously all muscle, we don't really know anything about Iconian anatomy in terms of how strong their musicles are. What we do know is that Iconians seem to be some kind of hybrid of Matter and Energy. They are not PURE energy like, say... the Vorlons from Babylon 5. Two pieces of evidence to support this are:
M'tara doesn't just fade away when she dies.
T'Ket has her severed arm on display, but it isn't "glowing" like she is.

Yup. Babylon 5 was one of my favorites back in the 90s. Great mix of action, drama, and humor. Just like SG-1 and Atlantis.
Too bad we never got a successful spinoff. Crusade was doomed from the start due to being aired out of order, and Legend of the Rangers came off as too much of a one off gimick to take off as a series.

You're not going to get them playable though. It's been brought up and there are technical reasons why.
I am going to say that isn't true just because we actually have a mission (Renegades Regret) where we play a Tzenkethi for the entire mission and it works quite well. Does that mean they will be playable eventually? Of course not.. but it's obviously very possible since it's actually already in the game.

Yeah, but in the mission, we get a set gear that is unique to the tzen. That is different from if it was a PC where ALL the items in the game has to work with the skeleton of the tzen...which seems unlikely.
A fair point, I wasn't trying to use Kit Modules or things of that nature which is a whole other issue. It would be funny to see how the Tzenkethi looked using Motion Accelerator.

Yea... some of the older Godzilla stuff was kinda out there. I mean the part where Godzilla flies like that? Its infamous among Godzilla fans for being so ridiculous its funny.

You want to see what happens, next time there's an event with Q Junior, ask him to turn you into something. If he turns you into something big and/or non-humanoid (he turned me into an Undine once), look at how goofy it looks if you just unholster your weapon.

Universe was kinda meh. They were STARTING to get better in season 2, but then the show was canceled. Another problem with SG:U was there really was only one likeable character for the most part. Rush was a jerk, some of the other characters were semi forgetable, and the Colonel... was actually alright. The only real likeable character though was Eli. At least IMO.

I kinda liked Rush, he was a arrogant jerk...but he could back it up...and yeah, by the time it started picking up it was already doing musical timeslots and was on the chopping block. (Though I admit probably part of the reason I like him is because of the actor, loved his role as Rumplestiltskin on Once Upon a Time)

Universe just took to long to get to the point.
I liked it, I thought it was a good show.. but in todays day and age you can't move things along that slowly and have people stick with it. Sure, I did.. but most people didn't.
By the time SG:U ended, it was an excellent show.. right when they got to where people would start wanting more.. it was gone. Shame because it had a really good premise and some really deep and well thought out characters.

I agree. The premise of the story was very interesting. But... they left us on the ULTIMATE cliffhanger.

Rush was the Gaius Baltar of SG:U.
And I agree with those who said they canceled the show, just when it was getting pretty darn good. But I've never forgiven them for not having released Season 2 on Blu-Ray.

Any chance they will be a playable race? The animations seem to be complete enough in Path of the Renegade.

Yeah, but they went beyond the rim.

Do you recall what the technichal issues were? Was that in a developer's post or interview?

The larger Voth Dinos should be bigger and stronger than a Tzenkethi.
