Anyway, it's sad to hear the show's sailing off for the second star to the right but it's good to know that we've got till morning (figuratively) to ready for the finale. They did an incredible job and it's great to see an additional nod in-game.
PS. Who's going to tell Zazrit?

That's the major news item. Shield of Tomorrow has had a great friend of STO and a significant part of the community with a collaborative STO play with the cast/devs (which saw the launch of the SoT fleet that's helped act as a through-put between game and show), two reciprocal in-game easter eggs already in game (Zazrit on DS9 and cream soda), and (as mentioned in the blog) SoT served as the inspiration for the Pathfinder adventures livestreamed from Cryptic (as well as other role playing groups in the STO community.)

Yeah, if I wanted to read reviews, I would have done that myself. I was asking for the opinions of others here. Thanks for a useless response.
LOL at complaining about being pointed at reviews that someone already took the time to write, while asking for people to waste our own time writing personal reviews just for you. I believe you should go and watch the whole thing and come back to write a review for all of us to read so we can ignore your work, too.
Personally, I think that Shield Of Tomorrow is a fantastic show. Of course, being a 3 hour stream of a group of people playing a role play game, it isn't like the typical Star Trek shows, with a script, scenes and special effects, but it doesn't need those things, due to the very good roleplaying of the players, GM and guest players.
There is a pretty sizable fan-base, too, known as the "Auxiliary Crew", with a Discord server with many channels, one of which includes 100's of characters that have been "rolled up" using Modiphius' "Star Trek Adventures" system, which is what the show uses. Occasionally, one or two of these characters will even be included in a game session, as an NPC. There are three Fleets on the PC platform, (two Fed, one KDF), a Fleet on the PS platform and no Fleet, but a small Club, on the XB platform.
I have a subscription to the Geek & Sundry/Nerdist collaborative channel, called Alpha Project, so I can watch the show whenever, but I am pretty sure that it has reruns on the Geek & Sundry Twitch channel, and some episodes available on their YouTube channel. Go check them out!

Answer to pretty much anything console/pc related in STO is "PC first, consoles at a later date."

PC at the moment. Don't know when or if it will appear on Console. Just watch the news feed.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Is this a limited time thing, or will this be around indefinitely?
EDIT: For anyone that's seen it, is it at least better than Discovery (I would expect so, but it doesn't hurt to ask)?

Releasing it earlier would be...(to quote the blog post)
July 13th is the finale. The announcement here roughly coincides with the announcement that the show is coming to an end then.

Fixed it. Sort of.
You can claim it whenever. It will be around until the game ends.
