Social hub on Ferenginar ?

With all the DS9 celebrations we need a real social hub on Ferenginar !

A social zone where everyone can go, with the tower of commerce, the grand nagus's palace, bank, some houses, shops, tailor and a shipyard... but with a big advantage for ferengi captain, a Transwarp to Ferenginar's Orbit

      Although I'm not opposed to the idea, per se, I think it won't happen. They sank all their (our) money into Gecko's pet project, the new DS9, so a new Ferenginar will be out for quite a while, I fear.

      To be fair, "Gecko's pet project" is something people have been clamoring for for a very long time.

      I suspect a Ferenginar map will totally rely on the story going forward. Can they work missions into the new map? If so, it will happen. The Voyager Bridge, Galaxy Bridge, really any bridge from a recent episode where we had to board the ship and the ship them landed in a lock box; DS9 if featured in how many episodes? The Fleet Colony Holding has multiple purposes. OTOH, if it doesn't advance the story, they aren't going to push it through.

      It would be the perfect addition, along with an expanded latinum store and actual Ferengi teeth, for a Ferengi mini-expansion.

      I like this idea, especially if we added in a doff recruitment type thing for Feds, KDF, Dominion, and Romulans (but they would share the same cool down as the ones the Romulans can access on New Romulus in the command center).

      Just remember isn't it always raining on Ferenginar?

      A Social Zone in the Gamma Quadrant wouldn't be bad either, especially if set up as a Transwarp Destination.

      Honestly the only thing standing between us and some seriusly cool social maps is a lack of feature episodes set on them. Also lazy devs reusing the same maps for summer and winter events every year.

      Qs winter wonderland is getting mighty crowded. Lets have this years winter festival on andoria. And next summer, Ferenginar. Come on, who doesn't want to have their summer vacation in a swamp with short bikini waring troll girls. That would be awesome.

      Lets have some missions on Betaed, Trill, Cardasia, Ferasa and Cait too. Maybe an easter event on Cait? Less bunnies more cats. and a noticeable lack of eggs?

      Also Ship interiors. We need a whole lot of missions on different kinds of starships to give the devs a reason to make more of those.

      My Ferengi would love a Hub on the Home world. Go into orbit and then get a message from Orbit control. "Welcome, In order to beam own there is a visitor fee of 1000 Latinum." Pay the fee and you can beam down. Every building you visit is another 100 latinium, Lots of Dabo, and tons of stuff to spend your latinium on everywhere, clothing, jewerly, New equipment, With it being Ferengi, the devs can truly let their imaginations run wild on the stuff for sale.

      We have enough empty social zones as it is. I would rather see time and resources spent on something more useful.

      I voted yes, but only because I believe we need more ground Adventure Zones. Many of those have a "hub" aspect to them, with Nukara being the only exception that I can think of.

      Also Lukari prime would be better that way we can just reuse 80% of the colony holding with a new skybox.

      The freaky thing about this is that some people who do radio shows in game are starting to avoid using DS9 like they used to. Even though the revamp looks fantastic it's to small of a station now especially with all the NPC's roaming about.

      More social zones in the older regions is pretty much the last thing we need. Both the AQ and BQ have several that are completely forgotten and empty aside from the 3 or 4 people who are led there by an epsiode and then proced to never go there again.
      I'd like a proper one in the GQ so we don't have to return to ds9 and endure 3 loading screens every time we need something.
