Cardassian uniforms update

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Can someone in the know please tell us when we are getting the uniforms. Keep hearing yeah it’s in next patch then nothing. Not even mentioned. Come on guys st least keep us informed.

    Per Ten Forward Weekly last night: these are coming soon. They don't want to say exactly which update in the pantheon of "soon" it's coming (ex. next week, the week after) because they don't want to disappoint people again as work progresses and a release is finally reached.
    Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
    Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
    Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!

    Kael has previously stated that the art work is done, but that QA is testing them to make sure there are no disappearing arms, legs, etc., before they are released.

    Yea. And honestly was a better man than Dukat. Hell... apparently the reason he has facial hair is to seperate himself from Dukat, who I think was said to be his cousin or something in the books.

    A gold pressed latinum brick says that KDF get a T6 Vor'cha before the Cardassian uniforms come out working well. Twenty gold pressed latinum bricks say that another Duke Nukem game arrives before the Gorn get the 23c uniform parts promised.

    The only difference here is that the Cardassian uniform is pay-for while the 23c Gorn uniform is not.

    FYI - These are the only official posts/last updates I've seen about the Cardi Uniform:

    A June 8th Tweet from Al Rivera (Captain Geko) that it was gonna happen:


    Then a June 14th Reddit thread by Ambassador Kael announcing a delay:

    In the comments Kael reaffirms that the closest ETA he could give was "not next week, as soon as possible"

    Not complaining here. I'm in no hurry (I haven't even made a Card yet). The updates will come when they come. Frankly, I'm glad they're giving the unis for free. I don't think they should have, but it wouldn't have surprised me if they put them in the C-Store as a Costume Pack (sort of how Roms had to pay to get C23 and TNG unis).

    Anyway, the last update given is a week old. Anyone got anything more recent?

    As it’s in the QA stage right now hopefully it will be in the next patch (28th June) just don’t get your hopes up

    For myself when I see people doing the "Dukat was Right" bovine fecal matter it makes me want to name a ship "Dukat was an A.s.s", but the game will "badname" it.

    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

    Not yet, but its possible they might get mission reward treatment. NPCs have them, but not players.

    Here's a funny twist, the Cardassian uniform is available in the Foundry already. :open_mouth::confused:

    Also I have a thread up requesting facial hair options like Macet had.

    This is an absolute must. I'm so sick of the lame "emo elf" Romulan uniforms.

    QA did a bad job on the Terran Empire Odyssey sleeveless Uniform female and the Terran enterprise female outfits. they fixed Terran sleeveless outfit female. but broke Odyssey sleeveless and Terran enterprise. i don't have faith in the QA teams. clipping is at a all time high. star ships some you cant even change widows or ship hall maternal ( and color patrons). just to show a point on the mirror female uniforms i add links to screen shots.

    i could see the Odyssey sleeveless being missed in the sleeveless fix. but the Terran enterprise female was fine till the fix.
