DS9/VOY Romulan uniform

Apparently DS9 and VOY had a new uniform for Romulans and used rank pips on the collar like the Federation, I was thinking it would be nice to have it in the game, as much as I like the TNG Romulan uniform I would like to have more options.

    Yeah, but that same uniform is used in DS9 too, I just couldn't find a decent picture of it right away. I just edited the thread to point out that it was also on Voyager.

    Personally I'd like to see either the Enterprise or Nemesis uniforms become available.

    Actually... they were referring to the Romulan uniforms. They reused the Nemesis uniforms for Enterprise.

    probably a budget consideration as romulans show in only 1 or 2 scenes in season 4 of ENT IIRC in uniform that is. So I suspect they weren't just the same design but they were literally uniforms used in Nemesis the crew had access to. I also suspect that ENT had 5th season they would have made a new design for the romulans.

    You guys are correct. It was a budget decision to reuse the Nemesis uniforms in Enterprise.

    There are MANY examples of budget decisions that reused things. For example if they needed an alien ship but couldn't afford to design a new model, they would reuse an old one and mod it.

    There are links to others in there so you can actually look through each series, but there are several instances of a ship from an earlier season, or even series, being modded and used again later on to a totally different ship or object.

    This didn't even stop when they moved to cgi. In the establishing shot of Romulus for Nemesis, I believe more than one Delta Quadrant ship can be seen flying around.
