AM i still able to get the anniversary 8 ship for free?

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
is the lukari ship for anniversary 8 still available for me to get for free. I have never seen the promotion

    Only if you still have that project slotted in your event rep and do NOT dump it. If it is still slotted, you should be able to finish it next anniversary. Cryptic is usually pretty good about letting us finish those old projects. So... yes... technically you should still be able to, but you'd have to wait a year before working on it again. If you don't have that project slotted... you're out of luck and have to hope on getting lucky with the Phoenix Box when it rolls around.

    And technically the Phoenix Box can be totally free as any extras you get besides the daily one are bought with Dilithium, which can be earned in game by just playing the game. The only limiting factor is the daily 8000 refine limit.

    I thought it was supposed to be in the promotions tab.

    Anniversary, Winter Event, and Summer Event ships are earned through the rep system in the Events rep. They aren't in the Promo tab of the C-Store.

    No. Typically, event ships (and items) are initially obtained by completing that event's project slot but may be added to Phoenix boxes at some later date. Once one character has completed the event project, however, ships and items are usually account unlocked and can be gotten by other characters on that account from the special event store under the "Reclaim" tab.

    Are you on consoles where they had a limited-time giveaway in March? If yes and you didn't claim the ship, the "limited-time" part applies to you.

    It might show up in the Phoenix Pack later.

    The lukari ship went straight to phoenix on console which is why they gave it away via the store for the freebie ship this year so if you missed it then you're out of luck.

    I can't help but think that they knew this years anni ship for all platforms was going to be the bajoran one which is why they dumped it on the phoenix box as quickly as they did. Shame really as they could have done some sort of catch up event to allow the account unlock and not shaft folk with the per character option.

    Anniversary 8 was also the Bajoran interceptor, not the Lukari Science Vessel.

    That said, there are two other Lukari vessels. Search the exchange and you'll find the T5 Lukari science raider (shouldn't be too expensivE) and if you belong to a fleet with T5 colony holding you can pick up it's fleet version (with a unique hull type).

    From their question I was assuming they were on console which is why I gave the answer I did.

    Last I checked the n'kaam saucer ship was around the 6-7mil mark on PS4.

    on PC the Bajoran ship is not in the Phoenix box
