This is doubly true for those cutscenes which start DURING BATTLE! Being locked out of your viewscreen and controls just to watch Shon and the Enterprise warp in to the rescue while 40,000,000 hostile ships don't stop pounding on you is not cool!
I was in the Voth Battlezone yesterday and while there are bugs, it is far from 'FUBAR'.
It's playable and while there are some minor issues, overall it shouldn't be too difficult to complete the zone.
This action makes little sense if you ask me. For low level players, the enemies will be too strong if there are some level 50 or 60 players on the map, for high level players it will still be laughably easy.
Why not change it back to the way it was a couple of months ago? I don't really get why players of all levels had to be thrown together in the first place? The mission was much better when it was separated in 10 level-brackets, with beginning players separated from those at level 10-20, 20-30 etc.
You know, if I were to put my tinfoil hat on I'd say that while breaking the BZ wasn't intentional the lack of fix or just any kind of acknowledgement that it is TRIBBLE almost beyond being playable is 100% deliberate. They've been trying to nerf everything where you can get big amounts of dil during dil weekend for a while in the name of "the economy" and the Dyson BZ is the place most people go during the dil weekend, especially if you have a low end toon or are just new. Nevermind that these economy corrections are hurting new and casual players, which would be the two groups you'd think this game wouldn't want to alienate.
But then Cryptic and business sense doesn't really seem to be within hailing distance of one another.

Got the 10 minute warning in game then it went down. I saw that too.
Add me to the list of those not happy. I have a fleet dilithium boost that i kicked off just before the servers went down, in preparation for the weekend. And seeing all sorts of bugs(coffee break derpy boffs, teleporting or flying enemies/boffs that warp to the top of the artillery generators or the monorail, monorail package shifting in angle/direction while on the rails)...Makes me wonder if Cryptic's magic 8-ball is hinting that the zone is getting ready to be a verminmancer's playground soon.

Congratulations on having a sandwich, doesn't mean no one else is hungry.
Just went on a tour of the Voth BZ and not only did we have only two zones active - which is unheard of during dil weekend, even on an average Friday afternoon - the sequence went as followed:
Boffs got stuck on the ramp down to the artillery point in City and refused to move. When I changed instance to unstick them they spawned inside a wall. Decided to truly solo this thing because nah, not effing with that.
Generator point went spastic, began sliding backwards for no reason at all. No Voth in sight, nor any message that they've successfully pushed back the device. Had Voth Medics spawn on top of the generator track where they're untargetable, but can still shoot you. (Had to give up on capturing that point in the end.)
Got one shotted by one of the normal Voths - forget the name of them - on my Eng tank who can take 4-5 hits from the Mecha suits.
When capturing the standing points (Comm Array?) bombs kept hitting me even though I was not in the red zone, almost one shotting me. (At this point I checked that the game hadn't accidentally unslotted my traits, but all was well and good with my build and no different from how it was two weeks ago).
When we finally, after more than twice as long as this usually takes, got the dinos to spawn, one spawned inside a wall and couldn't be targeted.
After this I TRIBBLE off to New Romulus. Not going back the Voth BZ until this is fixed. The hyper spawn of Mecha suits and occasional weirdness of the zone I can live with, but not this. I'm glad you have a good and mostly trouble free run, but that doesn't change that this zone has gone from being slightly bugged but doable, to a hot mess since the 4/3 patch.
Btw, the low number of active zones we both saw - yes only three zones going during dil weekend, even at off hours is low -is indicative that there's a significant problem and that players are either going elsewhere, or just dropping the game entirely.
Edit: Just went with my sci captain because I'm a stubborn TRIBBLE who don't know when to quit and I can add two more fun bug.
Enemies spawn ad infinitum after a point is captured: Captured a Comm Array point and as I was calling in reinforcements for the daily quest completion three Voth Specialists spawn right outside the point and try to take it. We get them down but the moment they die another three spawn, which kept on going for a good three minutes after I decided to call it quits and run off.
Mecha suits can now call in mecha suits: We all know that Voth specialists sometimes upon "dying" call in a mecha suit instead of falling down and then you have to fight that one. And on occassion five or six specialists call them in in success leading to real fun times.
Well, fun times just got funnier. Now a mecha suit upon "dying" can also call in a new mecha suit. Seriously, seeing the mecha suit rise up into the air and then into the cockpit of the new mecha suit the way Voth specialists usually do was hilarious and I'm sorry I didn't get a vid of that but I was too busy going "wtf!" to think of it.
Man, imagine that happening five or six times in rapid successions?

Time in a bottle mission and with the phase jump the skybox just went black and so did the rest of the map, lit only by the heralds as they wandered about glitching into the ground.
Good thing that reman shield was fixed.
