Ship components, traits, BOFF skills, UI layout, and DOFFs. Otherwise what's the point?

    'UI layout'? Why?!

Different ships have different ui elements and boff bars. Switching ships causes mine to leave gaps or overlap each other.

Poll needs an option that says "remove loadouts from the game."
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    Yeah, I never used loadouts.

And why would you want to use the same traits on different ships?
Are you just using all the same class of ship when you switch?

Not to sound too spoiled, but this is the very first time I heard of that issue. Literally never happened to me.

Oh...reading this reminds me: I have seen this happen. But not when switching ships.

I see this happen when I adjust an option called: Interface Scale (last item listed in the BASIC tab)

I adjust Interface Scale when I want to get a screen shot of (or just a closer look at) those tiny icons used for buffs and debuffs. And sometimes I miss that 1.08 mark when I return everything back to normal....and that is when I will see the gaps or spaces on everything....including Mini Map, Mission Tracker, and other UI elements.

Not sure what the default should be...but 1.08 works for my old eyes so I can play without glasses (because headphones crush them into my head). LOL!

Yes! Please. I hate changing half my traits when switching between a cannon ship and a beam ship.

Happens every time I change ships. I ignore it till it bugs me. Saving the UI layout per-ship would be handy, but it's not a huge issue. Just polish.

Of course they should. If I swap from a beam loadout to a cannon one, I'll want the cannon traits active. And vice versa.

Very strange! But I believe you, of course.

    Yes please.
Not all ships make optimal use of certain traits.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Naturally.

And, furthermore, Traits should be included for no greater reason than to be reloaded, with a loadout, when Cryptic decides to unslot all your Traits again.

And while we're talking about traits... Can we PLEASE get them in alphabetical order! What goober doesn't put a list of text things in alphabetical order?

I am leaning toward yes, and also saying active specializations could be as well.

I'm gonna say "yes" but only if they can guarantee that it won't throw this game back into a nigh unplayable state.

It took a very, very, very long time until loadouts "worked" as they do now and I'm kinda afraid of them touching that stuff again.

I guess it heavily depends on the ships you're switching between. Hangars, weapon layout, spec power tray, SA button, etc.
I also get this alot when jumping between carriers, 5/x layout ships and something like that but that's usually fixed in a couple secs.

I think that's less of a bug and more like the game generally not knowing wtf to do with the different UI elements that pop in and out of existence.

I voted yes, I have a pvp set up and a pve set up and manually swapping more than half the trait every time I change from one load out to the other is a pain and subject to error. Please include trait with those loadout.

Anything that effect your character in combat is a part of your build should be in the save loadout option. So specialization/Traits ground and space seperate loadout/gear/doffs/etc at least that my opinion.

Yes. And while they are at it, really would appreciate not having my traits unslotted at random.

Or random gear unslotted. Last night i launched into breach and it unslotted one of my 3 forward weapons. Lucky I noticed it in time.
