my original @handle matched my forum user name, then one day, some one changed it to @badname##### (a bunch of numbers). I contacted support about the issue, and pleaded my case. In my case I had actually wanted to use a different @handle but didn't know how. they asked my to provide a desired handle name and eventually one that was not already taken was chosen. If you contact support with a good reason, and are not rude, I am sure they will help you out.
Star Treking, across the universe. Only going forward because we can't find reverse...
I had asked in a support ticket and they said it was physically impossible to change the handle name. Though I saw a while ago that everyone got the chance to change it once, right? It was back when we signed into the launcher with the handle and not our email I think.
I love your forum name by the way hehehehehe.
It's not physically impossible for them to change it but they won't do it unless there is an issue (for example, you used inappropriate language in your handle, such as "coitus").

it is patently false that they are unable to change the @handle. They did so for me, as described in my previous post. my guess is one of these two things,
1. you did not meet the criteria for a @handle name change,
2. the support tech that read your message was being lazy. and didn't want to put out the effort needed to change your @handle
I feel it's probably a mixture of the two reasons

It's not technically impossible, but they don't do it just because you like to. I think it's precisely to avoid the workload of having to change players handles all the time because they feel like it.
I ask support for a nane change twice a year just to see if anything changed. It's always the same copypasta mail that they don't do it unless a name violates TOS.
