@baddmoonrizin hey bro, question. That data model is the one from the Sela mission. In that cutscene we see the back of his head, not his face. Since the OP m0dded some game files to get that face, is that unrele4sed content?

I did what to what?
Maybe you aren't the one who made the video? Not sure. Either way, whoever did it had to edit game files to get the Data face(and many other things). Since that face wasn't actually shown in game, that is posting unreleased content.

it's notable that this @Crimeonadime dude has literally admitted to modifying game files twice in this thread and should probably get in trouble for it.
...the reason I suggest this is that he seems to think this is the only way, and the "secrets" behind the StarTrekOffline project (which aren't really secrets as they're usually chanted loudly in these types of threads) have already been given in great detail to Kael and a few other devs, causing everyone involved to NOT get in trouble for using them.
regardless, No modification of game files were required, And it's clearly somewhat different from the Data NPC from Sunrise, before or after his strap removal.
Seems like @crimeonadime#2645 was throwing unfounded comments around and has since gone silent. I was hoping to hear why he thinks what he does... if he only knew the time and effort put in......

I'm more than happy to explain what I mean, although I've already done so.
But to repeat it again for you, this is what I mean:
1: the devs made a Data model for a mission in game. However they only showed us the back of his head, they intentionally did not show his face.
2: the person who made this video has edited demo-record files, which are game files, to be able to use the data textures(and others) on their(and friends) characters.
3: by posting the data face(and other things) that is posting unreleased content.
Granted, they have made minor tweaks, but that doesn't change point 3 above. If people want to fool around with the game files on their computer, that's their business. But once they start posting unreleased content in public they are only asking for trouble.

Except this has happened before and oddly enough it's been allowed. It's almost like Devs can use their own discretion, especially when it might be a nice bit of free promotion.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

While you're clearly trying to steal attention from a beautiful video by fabricating negativity, my earlier statements remain...
Where/how have you seen Data's Face if only the back of his head is shown? You have only previously suggested that you modified game files as it's "the only way" you apparently know of to do this.
Secondly, Where is the unreleased content in the video? Data pretty clearly uses Tom Paris's head with a different hairstyle and some face slider tweaks. Tom Paris is released content. I'm unaware of Data parts in the game and do not have access to them, But I know some lifetime people with boffs that have "Android parts"...

Further to Rahhmi's response, by your logic am I not allowed to edit my keybind file? You would say is a game file similar to a demo record file. But... what if I want to bind more stuff to spacebar though?
I did. Mostly because I was teaching myself After Effects as I was making it. Cryptic then decided to disable things in demorecord which didn't stop me but it did slow me down a touch.

I'm sorry about that. I just wanted to reach the most people possible.
Noted for future reference.
