Arc launcher forcing me to reinstall STO when i already have it.

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
been playing for 2 years now and all the sudden the arc launcher says i need to install STO? logged in just fine yesterday, and can log in threw steam aswell. why? is arc making me install it again?

    a workaround ,take a backup of the pre installed directory ,begin installing ,stop at 3-5% ,find the new location the game wants to be in ! copy files from old location to the new one ...

    example

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arc\Star Trek Online_en - old location

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arc\Star Trek Online
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arc\Star Trek Online_de - (possible new locations)
    C:\ (...) \Arc\Star Trek Online_(...)

    from op mentioned issue happens every couple of months, to me. taking a backup from a fresh installed sto is always wise!!

    The game has been installed on my PC for well over 5 years (since last Windows reinstall) and today, my Arc PLAY button has become a INSTALL button. :(

    Same problem here, Champions Online, Star Trek Online, and Neverwinter, already installed, but Arc can't find them. Even if told to search for games on my computer.

    I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. Wrote to support and they said there was no problem.

    Come on Arc, fix your game launcher.
    I am not gonna have the games installed twice. And I am not gonna remove the games from Steam for this.
    I don't really have a reason to keep the Arc Games Launcher program installed if it isn't working.
