Things I want in STO:
1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!
Even if you charge $100 for each ship within the extended selection, I bet people will stampede to get that one ship they've been eyeing hungrily, yet never having the luck to acquire.
But, we're probably more likely to get a Royal Fizbin than seeing that happen.
Forget the discounted prices, I just want to see the direct sale. And yea, sure, charge $200 for the extended selection. For some people, it's worth it.

The Tzenkethi are sterilizing worlds, Torg and J'mpok both are about to need brown pants, there's a new Admiralty Campaign on the horizon, The Lukari are exploring, and there's been a distinct emphasis on pirates, privateers, and mercenaries both in game and in the blog posts.
I think your paranoia, while understandable, is misplaced.

kodoskang check the Z-Store tabs. I'm pretty sure I read where if you purchase a T5 ship you get 1 free upgrade token per ship. Those type of perks are usually in the Promotions or perhaps Items tabs. If still nothing I would send in a ticket & if still no resolution from Cryptic dispute the purchase because you are not receiving what you paid for obviously. I'm sure if it is a glitch Cryptic will make it right. I'll just copy & paste below:
In addition, players can get a ship upgrade token when they buy T-5 ships! Here’s how it works:
Each time a player buys a Tier 5 ship, they will receive a free ship upgrade token.
This only occurs when the Tier 5 ship is bought for the first time on an account.
The Claim for this token will appear in the Promotions tab of the C-Store.
When the player selects claim, they will receive a bound to account ship upgrade token in their inventory and the product will disappear from the promotions tab.
These tokens stack so if a player buys 3 Tier 5 ships at once, they will be able to claim the promotion 3 times.
Tier 5 Ship bundles will have the equivalent amount of tokens as the number of ships in the bundle.
Example: Buying the Dyson Mega Bundle will give players 9 tokens.
The Mogh since it was on sale, & since I had bought the Battlecruiser Bundle during the last sale.
I also purchased the Cross Faction Modern Science Bundle to offer my KDF & Rom. factions a factional Science ship & my Fed. another one.
Then I purchased some extra BOFF slots for all my characters.
The Command Battlecruisers Bundle & the Flagship Bundle don't interest me since there's no, imo, reasonable method in acquiring the Kobali Samsar & Krenim Science ships.
I bought the Cross Faction Modern Science Bundle instead of the Multi-Mission ships even though I do own the Lukari Ho'kuun since 1) it was cheaper despite being less ships 2) I preferred the designs of the Cross Faction Modern Bundle.
Now to window-shop a bit more before the Zen Bonus & everything on sale in the Zen Store concludes.
I could be wrong, but when a Zen bonus & a Zen Store sale are active at the same time I'm pretty sure in the Rules of Acquisition it states all sales are a: "must have & smart buy" anyways.
