Excluding Foundry stuff, I guess.
This topic was spurred by a complaint I've seen a couple of times, about Space Battlezones reducing queue populations. I started ruminating on that because I consider space battlezones as probably the most successful kind of content STO has ever produced, personally; at the same time, I consider queues to be a general failure of the original design goals of the game.
One is an open area in which content can be accessed at leisure, with overarching goals but open ended objectives. There's no punishment for participation and the content is generally engaging (with a couple of exceptions). There's no time restrictions on when it can be used, and the content evolves with or without you. If this sort of content could be applied across a whole sector, or with deep space instances, I'd consider it a large step forward for the game. I'm just disappointed there's not one for every reputation, with some Battlezone marks either having no BZ or being relegated to Ground BZs (I detest ground combat).
The other (queue) is content that splits its own population into three (or more if you consider queues to be competing) parts. It has a defined population that will not allow participation until it's met. It's static, completely instanced, extremely repetitive and requires everyone's active participation for sometimes very extended periods of time. So not only is it segregated and restricted, but it also ensures the content dies permanently if players tire of meeting these various conditions, perhaps even to be punished with ship and personal injury debuffs. I'm not saying they should be removed, but seeing them as the defined end game content for STO I always felt was foolish and extremely contrary to being an MMO at all - something STO doesn't utilize very often.
So, my pick is personally space battlezones. Specifically the Badlands, as my favorite. I'd probably like the Tzenkethi BZ a lot if it worked correctly, or at least rewarded you with marks for defending the zones you have to patrol, due to the constant flipping. They're probably my favorite STO content.

From older content I pick team oriented PvE like Infected Manus and especially No win Scenario.
Its missions like these which remind me that I play a Star Trek GAME instead of wasting my time while growing fat for the next nerd convention.

Seriously though, I enjoy most of the content in-game, as long as I alternate between them. Right now, it's all about messing around on Risa and the occasional vacation to Defera for cheap Fleet Marks.

It's probably easier to say what I don't like;
- Missions which railroad to a particular outcome in a manner that feels forced. I like to feel that I'm actually having a productive effect on the scenario, not just clicking through boxes till the game gets to the outcome it desires.
- "Kurland here..." No! Just take all that out of the spacewalk, and let the spacewalk HAPPEN without the constant screen-blocking interruptions!
- Kurland himself. Reduce that gut slider down to half a bar! Looking like that, the man is a disgrace to the uniform! Put Tubby K on an exercise regime, and I'll have no problem with him at all.
- Sarish. Abrasive, impetuous, and racist >_< She makes Kira look like the Bringer of Hugs and Puppies! She's someone who needs her pagh checked, or a few choice words from an Orb Vision.

Heehee....beat me to it. Kurland made me wonder about Starfleet's fitness requirements. Made me think of ole' "Cupcake".
I like Sarish, actually.
Anyhow, I like stories, and I LOVE the extra lil things on can find if you look in the right places, like Stop the Signal and Of Bajor when you check other frequencies

In a society where abundance thrives, and there's no money, what does one bribe a CMO with? o.o;
Yup....give me a new Rep, new Admiralty Tour of Duty, new Fleet Holdings....I can live with those things...and those things alone will keep me going in this game.
Not real big on video games, myself, (too slow and uncoordinated)...not into that part of this production at all.

There was a cutscene in that game where I got up, made popcorn, ate the popcorn, and it still wasn't done yet.
Never did even finish the first game though. Got stuck in an unwinnable position where I was too weak to survive in the last area, but I couldn't get back out to go grind. Ever since then I make back up saves in RPGs before anything I think is a point of no return...

I'm only participating in PVE for marks to complete the reps that I want to do. After that I don't think I'll do pve.

Well, I don't think latinum would be much in a federation posting, and I doubt they'd do 8 hour shifts....otherwise you'd see starfleet folks half asleep 6 hours in.
Who's Kurland gonna be getting naughty with at DS9? ~ponders~

Anything in the game which is bug free and has no pointless time gates.
So much better than the Foundry. Every time I try one of those, I immediately feel the need to bang the head against my desk because that would be less painful.
And I have a pretty low threshold for awfulness, I used to read the early Star Trek novels which were often literally fan fiction authors writing fan fiction (and somehow getting paid for it).
