A new ship is coming to each faction very soon on PC - including that T6 Miranda you might've been asking for. :)

    It's a bit late for April fools jokes isn't it ?

    A T6 Miranda and it's in the C-store and not in a lock box or R&D pack promo ? C'mon, what's the punch line ?

    All jokes aside, it's time for me to start saving up some more money, this is a ship I've been wanting forever, as in, since my first ever Fed toon I've been wishing for a higher tier Miranda. I would have paid to buy one at every tier just so I could keep flying my Miranda.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. And thanks also for thinking of the KDF and ROMs and giving them a new ship also.

    T6 Miranda?

    *girlish squeals of delight*
    Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.

    Things I want in STO:

    1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
    2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
    3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
    4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
    5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
    6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
    7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
    8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

    and bears the distinction of being known as the Reliant-class, in honor of one of its more famous forebears.
    Considering its hijacking and what resulted of it (loss of Regula station, of the Genesis Device, the birth and destruction of the Genesis Planet, as well as the later diplomatic troubles with the Klingon Empire) led to tons of death on both Federation, Augments and Klingon sides, as well as the crippling and later destruction of the Enterprise, wouldn't "INfamous" be more fitting? :tongue:

    Nitpicking aside, I'm sure some people are delighted to see the T6 version and its Allied counterparts.

    It figures that the one I want most in T6 form (Oberth) is the last to get a release.

    So it will have pilot maneuvers, an escort-like turn rate with slightly stronger hull and shields I presume?

    I don't really care, it's a T6 Miranda, I want it! :D

    I was wondering about the same thing too. (Ha ha ha.)

    Perhaps there was a Reliant that was commissioned that regained some positive notoriety at some point?

    Looking forward to the Reliant class. The lines of the ship look great and not ridiculous or cartoony at all.

    I'm a traditionalist, so I prefer the original Miranda look, but good lord the T6 skin is gorgeous!

    Yes, yes, all the yes, is it Thursday yet?

    Love the updated Miranda look. That KDF ship looks like the love child of a Negh'var and a BoP, in a good way.

    I want to see the Romulan on from more angles, but regardless down for the cross faction 3pk love.

    The T6 Miranda will make a great addition to my ship collection, would be nice if they tossed in a revamped Constitution TMP skin as well.

    The Romulan Republic welcomes the addition of the Deleth Advanced Light Warbird Battlecruiser!

    I'm hoping that Romulans will get that long awaited native ship with cruiser command suite
    (though Battlecruisers normally don't get full command range...)

    I am really real really happy!

    Just to make sure that I get this right the ROM and KDF versions are brand new ships, and won't be based on existing ships like the Miranda/Reliant Class is.

    It is very beautiful, though something confuses me a bit: the purple warp coils or photon spill grills/ports (I think those are the technical terms, depending on the source) of the remodel, I don't remember seeing any that isn't blue for Federation ships. Was there an episode with purple ones on a Federation ship I missed?

    There is still no thread for reworked T1 Miranda blog so quick question here:
    Additionally, we’ve also added new “Saratoga” variant parts based on the ill-fated starship Benjamin Sisko served on during the Battle of Worf 359

    Should that be not "Battle of Wolf 359" ?

    Naming the new ship class Reliant class also serves as a reminder of the brave men and women that sacrificed their life to protect the Federation.

    This explains how one Cube did so much damage: the fleet at Worf 359 went down with a single punch.
