Instant Crash after pressing engage button Error reading App ID

As the title says the game crashes instantly after pressing the engage button of the launcher with the error message shown in the screenshot below.
I'm a little bit confused, because i don't have steam and start the game always with the launcher. This issue occured about 2 or 3 times in the past and after a new attempt the game started normal. But since yesterdays late afternoon (in europe) every attempt to start the game leads to that instacrash.
I tried replacing the star trek online.exe but the game crashes again. Starting in safe mode doesn't work either, because the game crashes after pressing engage. Trying to start the game via ARC has the same result.
Is there any known solution for this problem? Has anyone experienced the same error and got it fixed? I don't want to reinstall the game because of the huge amount of data to be downloaded. Hope anyone can help to avoid this.
