Just curious. I'll save my preference for a comment to avoid bias.
What do you think? What damage type would you like to see featured in the next reputation?
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

I wouldn't mind seeing some Enterprise era Phase weapons in the next lockbox though. And maybe some Photonic Torpedoes to make a canon NX.
But mostly to give us Enterprise era ground weapons.
Actually thinking about it i kind wish i could change my answer.
since i got the allied ships and saw the ferasan and caitian have grey tet weapons i kinda want them on my ship.

Someday when I'm not working on other projects I might work on revamping my Tet build.
I play more space than ground, but I'll admit Enterprise era ground weapons would be sweet.

Well... I got the Enterprise uniform, and recently acquired the Enterprise era MACO outfit. *shrug*
I can easily see how we can get both beam and bolt type weapons from that era.
High Density, Split Beam, Stun, and Wide Beam could use the Starfleet models like the Phase Pistol and Phase Rifle.
Compression Bolt, Dual, Auto, and Sniper could use the MACO Rifle and MACO Pistol.
Hell... we SAW Archer Dual wield EM Pistols in Broken Bow!
I ran tetryon while I flew the Xyfius. Also used the Nukara and Krenim sets. I have no idea how it parsed, but it was fun, and seemed to melt things in PVE just fine.

Piercing tetryon build here on Risa corvette and Breen raider. Was interesting, but as time passed it was left behind in performance.
Phaser would be nice as a reputation although there is quite a lot of choice for phaser out there from boxes.
I wonder when radiation will be a primary damage type and not something thrown in as extra.
I'd be interested in radiation too. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing some new, unique weapon types, with boosting tac consoles to match.

The other listed energy types have a myriad of variants.

This is still a fun/viable build. You should look into it again after the balance pass if you still have your gear.
Couple years back I had a pretty similar Polarized Tetryon build for PvP and PvE purposes. Anyway, as I'm sure you know Polarized had a 10% proc chance at draining shield back then.
But after DR they were changed to Resonating versions (which now have a 5% shield drain and slightly higher dmg). But I kind got soured on using them at that point. As I'd already upgraded them specifically for the 10% proc. So I just kind of put them away for a long time.
I'll never understand the reasoning behind the changes to Polarized Tetryon, at the time they were the least of our troubles. And perhaps the most unique/specialized weapons in STO at the time... which was pretty neat. and I still think its a shame they were changed.
But I digress.
Point being is with the new toys for Tetryon (mission reward omni, and the heavy shield draining Quantum Phased set) Tetryon is in a very good/viable place right now.
I've got a build on the go right now with a mix of my old Polarized->now Resonating Tetryons, and Refracting/crafted mix.
I've gotta say, even though you lose a proc taking the refracting, its a whole lot of fun seeing the refraction combo'd with the Nukara Rep Trait.
And I'm within 5-10% of my main disruptor build in terms of DPS.
Might even nudge a few % closer after the balance pass.
I wish we could craft those.
And Dominion Polaron, Resonating, Plasma Disruptor hybrid. Basically any of the mission reward energy types.
Would be really nice.
Radiation as a primary... the PEP torp comes close. that DoT is nasty.
Kemo on release was primary lol.
I still do.

I believe I have that console too...

That said I'm a Disruptor fan boy, favorite energy type. So disruptors in the next rep or box certainly wouldn't upset me.
Tetryons with the disruptor proc would be kind of cool.
However if they made Protonic, and proton spire consoles, my beloved Romulan Dyson ships become much more appealing.
Really like the sound of this for all proton weapons. If they plan on selling T6 Dysons, which I am sure they will given the demonstrated willingness to re-sell everything as T6, and with the upcoming nerfs to cannon firing rates, without attention to Proton it'll go from a niche build to a museum piece displayed at the hall of shame.
If that's not clear enough, it means much less profit on new Dysons based on the existing bad rep that's about to be thrown off a cliff without some new attention to Proton.
Seconded!
