Patcher broken?

Anyone else not able to patch? Its trying... But its like looking at an old dial up connection...

    Slow in the UK too - impossible without the EU proxy, and slow with. Just gonna have to wait...

    Slowest I've ever seen with cable connection. Presumably there's a lot more people than usual trying to patch in since there's an actual new thing to play and it's only around for a few days instead of a whole week or so.

    I guess the server upgrade work earlier this week was actually a server "downgrade. It took me the better part of 10 minutes for the patch to upload 20.6MB (1%) and then it froze.

    Very very slow. EU here.

    EDIT: Stuck at 22% now for about half an hour, not moving at al.

    This is a known issue for years. Arc always considered Europe to be on the same level of importance as Nepal or South-Sudan...

    It works fine usually. Probably the non-storm currently passing over - it's messing with the bean cans and string we call broadband.

    West coast US, just hit 50% after 3 hours. Sounds like a lot of you are getting it much faster, and you European guys who are saying how bad you got it are looking pretty good right now.​​

    It went slow for me as well. But then I was told to use the "EU patch proxy" whatever that means. And it was smooth sailing from there.

    well gz then, im CE and dont recieve ANY dara from the server.
    patch progress completely haltet for an hour by now.

    very very very sloooooowwwww. I tried patching earlier before the game was back up and it was slow then too.
    Looks like I'm getting 1% per minute, so 100 minutes to download. GJ Cryptic! :#

    UK here. Launcher can't even connect here to patch properly as far as i can see.

    I should count myself lucky that I'm close to Boston and that after an hour I've gotten halfway there from what I'm reading.

    don't believe this has anything to do with number of players patching, wasn't even this slow when doing a major expansion, think this is down to something else entirely.
    try part patching, any time the patch seems to freeze click cancel and then click patch when it highlights, still a slow process but it seems to speed things along a little, each time the amount to be patched reduces.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    I switched my patch proxy to US and tried again. At the moment it's 37%.

    Well... I started to skyrocket it... it downloaded a great 3% (yep... 3%!) and now stopped...

    Hey, do not let those Breens near the hamsters please...
