Any news on the warp in bug that makes your ship suddenly warp in randomly when you're already in a map? It seems to be getting worse for me. I had it happen to me half a dozen times today in ksa. It's really damn annoying.
I have this same bug as well, unfortunately i have not heard ONE word from any of the devs about it. This bug has been around since the launch of AOY in august and it's getting extremely annoying.
I'm not sure why, but it's happening to me more and more. I haven't changed my build or anything (if traits and/or skills are the cause), but it happens to me alot. It interrupts firing cycle and seems to put some of skills into cool down without actually activating them. It's getting really frustrating.
This happens to me in almost every stf or mission and sometimes happens several times one after another. As people have said it does interrupt the firing cycle and when you're flying a fast ship sometimes the opportunity to fire with your forward arc is lost. Get it fixed

I put this in a couple other threads regarding this. I think they messed up Continuity in the Temporal spec tree cause this sounds like what I get even though I don't even have a single point in that spec yet.
When reduced below 10% Hull, trigger Continuity (max once per 3 minutes):
When triggered, apply to self:
Teleport backwards 8km from current position and facing
+{Magnitude} Hit Points
+{Magnitude} Shield Regeneration per Facing
Also causes "Adjustment Period" debuff:
-80% All Damage for 20sec
-66.7 Flight Speed for 20sec
OP: Normally I would be inclined to direct a person asking this to one of the existing threads about it. In this case, however, I had toyed with the idea myself even to ask again, in General Discussion, this time. So, thanks for starting this here!
Yes, I too urge the Devs to please fix this. I often hear they don't know the exact cause either. Obviously not; but -- putting on my stern cap now -- that is not really an excuse a Dev can hide behind. If a Dev doesn't know, then he should make it his business to know. Or, at the very least, make this a priority. It's been what, a year now?
So, please leave that Overflow Bag alone, and start cracking on this!
I am curious to know what progress has been made to nail down the cause or maybe they know and a solution is in the works? I would love a dev to post and let us know. I was really frustrate when I originally posted because the warp-in bug hit me 6 times in the span of about 20-30 seconds. I'm not exaggerating either. It happened 3 times in quick succession when I opened fire on an enemy and then again after I maneuvered my ship and opened fire on a second enemy it happened 3 more times.

Right. I don't use it either. But that has nothing to do with it as it could be triggering regardless. i.e. if it's bugged. That was introduced at the time this issue started happening and it describes what most are seeing happen to them.
yes pls fix this, it seems to occur randomly when i use overload, torpedo spread or gravity well, the bug triggers the ability cool down without firing the ability itself.

Honestly, they haven't acknowledged it yet because they don't need more information from us at the moment and acknowledging it only changes the thread titles from "Why have they not acknowledged it" to "Why is there no fix yet."
i do hope they can resolve this sooner rather than later.. i'm not sure if its just a lessening in my tolerance for the bug, or an increase in its frequency, but damn.. its getting exponentially more annoying with each passing play session.

LOL, in one of the battle zones yesterday and in less them 30 seconds I warped out and back in around 6 times that I could count. I really think it was count was higher. So many so fast together back to back I had a hard time telling if I was in or out. I had some nasty words for my crew (Engineering Dept) after that.
I changed ships (Vengeance to Ornash) to grind missions to get its trait and I got one warp in just a few seconds after entering a Tholian Red Alert and it didn't do it again.
Then, I switched back to my Vengeance and I got the bug at another Red Alert, but once again, only once and so far, it hasn't done it again.

What about differences in Spec tree setups? I think it's a bugged Continuity from the Temporal Tree triggering "randomly" as it came out the same time this started happening. It's one of those things where maybe if people use the Temp tree it doesn't happen but for people like myself that don't yet, it does.
There might also be 2 bugs as well. I've had one strange instance where I was just sitting in new rom system space doing some things like doffing etc and suddenly I got a loading screen and warped back in. I've only ever had that once though. The other thing where you have this pseudo warp issue during battle happens frequently for me.
None of my characters use the temporal spec (yes, I'm a bad DPS'er, I still prefer Pilot) so that could have something to do with it. Maybe I'll try enabling Temporal and see if anything changes.
